K-Pop saat ini telah merambah ke seluruh penjuru dunia, salah satu produk dari K-Pop adalah video musik. Umumnya video musik digunakan sebagai ajang promosi diri dengan konsep yang menyesuaikan lagu namun ada pula musisi yang menggunakan video musik sebagai objek mengenang, salah satunya grup Red Velvet yang merilis video musik “7 wol 7 il (One of These Night)”. Video musik ini digunakan Red Velvet untuk mengenang insiden tenggelamnya kapal Sewol. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan makna yang terkandung didalam video musik ini dan juga untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tanda pada visual dengan musik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan empat tahap tinjauan desain berupa deskriptif, analisis formal, interpretasi, dan evaluasi. teori yang digunakan dalam tahap interpretasi adalah teori Pierce. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya banyak sekali objek visual dalam video musik ini seperti cermin, perahu, dan gestur yang ditampilkan berkaitan langsung dengan insiden tenggelamnya kapal Sewol serta beberapa kebudayan yang hanya berada di Korea Selatan seperti Chilseok

K-Pop has now penetrated all corners of the world, one of the products of K-Pop is music videos. In general, music videos are used as a means of self-promotion with concepts that adapt songs, but there are also musicians who use music videos as objects of remembrance, one of which is the Red Velvet group, which released the music video for "7 wol 7 il (One of These Night)". This music video was used by Red Velvet to commemorate the Sewol ship sinking incident. The purpose of this research is to analyze and interpret the meaning contained in this music video and also to find out the relationship between visual signs and music. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with four stages of design review in the form of descriptive, formal analysis, interpretation and evaluation. The theory used in the interpretation stage is Pierce's theory. The results obtained from this research are the discovery of many visual objects in this music video such as mirrors, boats, and gestures that are displayed which are directly related to the incident of the sinking of the Sewol ship and several cultures that only exist in South Korea such as Chilseok.
