Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal di kelas X RPL SMKN 2 Mojokerto ditemukan permasalahan yakni tidak ada buku pegangan untuk siswa dikarenakan minimnya buku teks di perpustakaan. Siswa menggunakan modul yang disusun oleh guru sebagai sumber belajar dan pedoman kegiatan praktikum, namun perlu diperhatikan bahwa modul ini tergolong kurang efektif dalam menjelaskan materi. Terkait dengan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan, maka diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran untuk kelas X RPL di SMKN 2 Mojokerto. Penelitian ini bertujuan : 1) untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-modul berbasis web pada materi format teks halaman web kelas X RPL di SMKN 2 Mojokerto. 2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh e-modul berbasis web pada materi format teks halaman web terhadap kemampuan kognitif kelas X RPL di SMKN 2 Mojokerto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu analysis (analisis), design (desain), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi).

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan media e-modul berbasis website dengan hasil validasi diperoleh  nilai 89%, hasil validasi materi format teks halaman web memperoleh nilai 87,3%, hasil validasi RPP memperoleh nilai 89,4% dan hasil validasi soal soal pretest dan post-test memperoleh nilai 88,3%. Berdasarkan hasil validasi maka e-modul berbasis website layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada materi format teks halaman web di SMKN 2 Mojokerto. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan e modul terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa dilakukan uji paired sample t-test dengan hasil signifikansi (Sig.) sebesar 0,000. < 0,05 sehingga e-modul berbasis web memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa siswa kelas X RPL SMKN 2 Mojokerto. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan e-modul berbasis website memiliki pengaruh kemampuan kognitif siswa serta e-modul dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Based on the results of initial observations in class X RPL SMKN 2 Mojokerto, it was found that there was no handbook for students due to the lack of textbooks in the library. Students use modules compiled by teachers as learning resources and guidelines for practicum activities, but it should be noted that this module is classified as less effective in explaining the material. Related to the observations that have been made, it is necessary to develop learning media for class X RPL at SMKN 2 Mojokerto. This study aims to: 1) determine the feasibility of web-based e-modules on class X RPL web page text format material at SMKN 2 Mojokerto. 2) to determine the effect of web-based e-modules on web page text format material on the cognitive abilities of class X RPL at SMKN 2 Mojokerto. The research method used in this study is research and development with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

The results showed the feasibility of web-based e-module media with validation results obtained a value of 89%, the results of validation of web page text format material obtained a value of 87.3%, the results of RPP validation obtained a value of 89.4% and the validation results of pretest and post-test questions obtained a value of 88.3%. Based on the validation results, the website-based e-module is suitable for use in the learning process on web page text format material at SMKN 2 Mojokerto. To determine the effect of using e module on students' cognitive abilities, paired sample t-test was carried out with a significance result (Sig.) of 0.000. < 0.05 so that web-based e-modules have an influence on the cognitive abilities of grade X RPL students of SMKN 2 Mojokerto. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of website-based e-modules has an influence on students' cognitive abilities and e-modules can be used as learning media that are suitable for use in the learning process.
