PERAN GURU BK DALAM MENGIMPLEMENTASIKAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MELALUI 5S (SENYUM, SALAM, SAPA, SOPAN, SANTUN) KELAS VII DI SMPN 02 PORONG
THE ROLE OF BK TEACHERS IN IMPLEMENTING CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH 5S (SMILE, REGARDS, GREETING. POOR, COURTESY) CLASS VII AT SMPN 2 PORONG
Mengimplementasi pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 02 Porong dapat dilaksanakan melalui proses belajar aktif, yang berarti memberi ruang bagi guru untuk melaksanakan secara optimal. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru BK dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam program 5S (senyum, salam, sapa, sopan, santun) dalam membentuk akhlak siswa SMP Negeri 02 Porong. Selain itu penelitian ini juga ntuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mendukung serta menghambat pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter melalui program 5S (senyum, salam, sapa, sopan, santun) dalam membentuk akhlak siswa di SMP Negeri 02 Porong. Jenis penelitian yang dipilih adalah studi kasus karena penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan termasuk studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan yang kemudian diuji meggunakan triangulasi data dan uji inter subjectivity.
Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan mengenai SMP Negeri 2 Porong, maka dapat diperoleh hasil bahwa (1) Implementasi pendidikan karakter adalah salah satu program 5S di sekolah (senyum, sapa, salam, sopan dan santun). ini merupakan salah satu proses penanaman sikap religius siswa yang mengharapkan siswa bersikap baik, dan sopan santun terhadap siapapun. (2) Faktor pendukung program 5S terhadap penanaman sikap religius siswa yaitu adanya kerjasama dengan pihak orang tua siswa, dan faktor dari guru yang sangat penting agar tidak ada henti-hentinya memberikan contoh yang baik dan selalu menegur siswa apabila melakukan hal yang tidak baik. (3) Sedangkan faktor penghambat program 5S terhadap siswa terhadap siswa yaitu beberapa siswa yang masih belum terbiasa menerapkan tersebut.

The implementation of character education at SMP Negeri 02 Porong can be carried out through an active learning process, which means providing space for teachers to implement it optimally. The focus of this research is to describe the role of guidance and counseling teachers in implementing character education in the 5S program (smile, greet, greet, be polite, polite) in shaping the morals of students at SMP Negeri 02 Porong. Apart from that, this research is also to find out what factors support and hinder the implementation of character education through the 5S program (smile, greeting, greeting, politeness, manners) in shaping student morals at SMP Negeri 02 Porong. The type of research chosen is a case study because this research uses a qualitative approach and includes a case study. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions which are then tested using data triangulation and inter-subjectivity tests.
Based on research that has been carried out regarding SMP Negeri 2 Porong, the results can be obtained that (1) Implementation of character education is one of the 5S programs in schools (smile, greet, salute, be polite and courteous). This is one of the processes of cultivating students' religious attitudes which expects students to be kind and polite towards everyone. (2) The supporting factors for the 5S program in cultivating students' religious attitudes are cooperation with the students' parents, and the very important factor from teachers so that they never stop providing good examples and always reprimanding students if they do something that is not good. (3) Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor for the 5S program towards students is that some students are still not used to implementing it.
