LIBRARY RESEARCH ON PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF PORNOGRAPHIC ADDICTION THROUGH THE CINEMATHERAPY METHOD

The problem of pornography addiction in adolescents is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. This
study aims to describe cinematherapy as a method of preventing and treating pornography addiction. This
research uses a literature study method with data sources obtained from books, articles, previous research,
both nationally and internationally. From the results of the literature study, it is known that good selfcontrol is an important component to prevent and overcome pornography addiction. From the research, it
can be concluded that cinematherapy can be used as a prevention and treatment for pornography
consumption. The use of cinematherapy as prevention is by increasing insight into the dangers of
pornography and increasing students' self-control against pornography consumption through counseling,
classical guidance, group guidance, etc. While cinematherapy as a treatment is by increasing students' selfcontrol through individual counseling services, group counseling, or group guidance so that students are
able to reduce to stop consuming pornography.
