The Influence of Psychological Capital on Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI) Tendencies in Generation Z
Psychological capital dapat meminimalisir kecenderungan individu melakukan perilaku non suicidal self injury (NSSI) yang merupakan bentuk mekanisme koping tidak adaptif dari penyelesaian permasalahan. Banyak ditemukan penelitian sebelumnya yang meneliti terkait pengaruh psychological capital terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis, stress, dan kesepian Namun belum banyak ditemukan penelitian sebelumnya terkait psychological capital terhadap perilaku non suicidal self injury (NSSI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh psychological capital terhadap kecenderungan non suicidal self injury (NSSI) pada generasi Z dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif non eksperimen. Responden dalam penelitian yaitu generasi Z berusia 15-27 tahun di Kelurahan X sebanyak 148 orang dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala PCQ-24 milik Luthans (2007) dan skala kecenderungan non suicidal self injury modifikasi oleh Thantawi (2023). Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh signifikan sebesar 0,000 <0,05 yang menyatakan Ha diterima dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0,225.

Psychological capital can minimize an individual’s tendency to engage in non suicidal self injury (NSSI) behavior, which is a form of non-adaptive coping mechanism for solving problems. There have been many previous studies that have examined the influence of psychological capital on psychological well-being, stress and loneliness. However, not much previous research has been found regarding psychological capital on non suicidal self injury (NSSI) behavior. This research aims to determine the influence of psychological capital on non suicidal self injury (NSSI) tendencies in generation Z using a non-experimental quantitative method approach. Respondents in the research were generation Z aged 15-27 years in Village X as many as 148 people using random sampling techniques. The instruments used in this research used the PCQ-24 scale by Luthans (2007) and the modified non suicidal self injury tendencies scale by Thantawi (2023). The research results show a significant effect of 0.000 <0.05 which states that Ha is accepted with an R Square value of 0.225.
