Pengembangan Pop Up Book sebagai Media Pembelajaran Membaca Nyaring Cerita di Kelas II Sekolah Dasar
Development of Pop Up Book as a Medium for Learning to Read Stories Aloud in Grade II Elementary School
Media Pop Up Book merupakan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan untuk membaca nyaring cerita di kelas II sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menguji tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan Pop Up Book sebagai media pembelajaran membaca nyaring cerita di kelas II sekolah dasar. Model penelitian yang digunakan ialah model 4-D oleh Thiagarajan, Sammel, dan Sammel. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MINU Ngingas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media layak dan dapat digunakan untuk membaca nyaring cerita. Validasi media memperoleh hasil 88%, sedangkan validasi materi memperoleh hasil 85%. Dengan demikian, keduanya memperoleh kategori sangat valid. Angket respon guru memperoleh hasil 100%, sedangkan angket respon siswa memperoleh hasil 98%. Dengan demikian, keduanya memperoleh kategori sangat praktis.

Pop Up Book media is a learning medium developed for reading stories aloud in second grade elementary school. The purpose of this study was to test the level of validity and practicality of Pop Up Book as a medium for learning to read stories aloud in second grade elementary school. The research model used is the 4-D (four-D) model by Thiagarajan, Sammel and Sammel’s. The research was conducted at MINU Ngingas. The result of study show that the media is feasible and can be used to read stories aloud. Media validation got 88% result, while material validation got 85% result. Thus, both of them obtained a very valid category. The teacher response questionnaire obtained 100% result, while the student response questionnaire obtained 98%. Thus, both obtained the very practical category.
