DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON THE GOOGLE SITES WEBSITE TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF CLASS X STUDENTS OF SMK NEGERI 2 SURABAYA
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang membuat siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi sehingga membuat hasil belajar siswa rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis website Google Sites pada mata pelajaran Dasar Teknik Mesin untuk siswa SMK, (2) Menemukan pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif yang tepat untuk mendukung hasil pembelajaran siswa pada mata pelajaran Dasar Teknik Mesin, (3) Mengetahui respons siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis website Google Sites pada kelas terbatas.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan pengembangan model oleh Dick dan Carey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif Google Sites memperoleh kriteria “sangat layak” dengan rata-rata 87,49%. Sedangkan pada respons siswa memperoleh kriteria “sangat baik” dengan rata-rata 88,73%. Hipotetis penelitian menyatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan media interaktif Google Sites dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa karena memiliki tampilan dan fitur feedback yang dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi serta membuat siswa lebih interaktif.

This research is motivated by the limited use of learning media which makes it difficult for students to understand the material, resulting in low student learning outcomes. The objectives of this research are (1) To find out the feasibility of interactive learning media based on the Google Sites website in Basic Mechanical Engineering subjects for vocational school students, (2) To find the development of appropriate interactive learning media to support student learning outcomes in Basic Mechanical Engineering subjects, (3) Knowing student responses after using interactive learning media based on the Google Sites website in limited classes.
This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with model development by Dick and Carey. The research results show that Google Sites interactive media obtained the "very feasible" criteria with an average of 87.49%. Meanwhile, students' responses obtained "very good" criteria with an average of 88.73%. The research hypothesis states that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. These results show that Google Sites interactive media can improve student learning outcomes because it has a display and feedback features that can make it easier for students to understand the material and make students more interactive.
