Art conveys awareness of life and is often associated with
beauty. In Islam, khat art, or Arab calligraphy, has special value. The youth

this art, but the interest of the youth and its educational media was limited.
It takes attractive media introduction chats to raise interest.
The research is aimed at describing the concept of pop-up
book development, the process of making pop up books, and the results of pop up
book development on these types of chats.
The research uses Research and Development (R&D) methods
with a focus on product development without evaluation of effectiveness.
Development steps include potential and problem analysis, data collection,
product design, finished product manufacturing, product validation, design
revision, and a limited trial.
The concept of pop up book manufacturing includes the
collection of material, searching for reference techniques for pop up book
making, designing and printing images, stacking pop up books, expert
validation, and restricted trials.
The pop up book development process was designed using the
CorelDRAW 2020 application and printed using art paper that was subsequently
assembled using Lift the flap, V-Folding, internal stand, and Mouth techniques.
