PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM MENDUKUNG IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM KOKURIKULER PROJEK PENGUATAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA DI SMPN 1 GEDEG MOJOKERTO

THE ROLE OF PARENTS IN SUPPORTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COCURRICULAR PROGRAM PROJECT FOR STRENGTHENING PANCASILA STUDENT PROFILES AT SMPN 1 GEDEG MOJOKERTO

Secara normatif, struktur kurikulum merdeka terdiri dari pembelajaran intrakurikuler dan kokurikuler yaitu Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Pembelajaran berbasis projek membutuhkan peran serta orang tua dalam mendukung kegiatan ini. Namun, dalam prakteknya pelibatan orang tua dalam Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam mendukung implementasi projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila serta mengidentifikasi faktor dominan orang tua untuk berperan mendukung implementasi projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Metode yang dipakai penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive berjumlah 9 informan yang terdiri dari 1 Kepala Sekolah dan 8 orang tua.

Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bahwa 1) Peran orang tua  dalam mendukung implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila baik di Sekolah maupun di rumah diantaranya adalah memberi Sumbangan Pemikiran dalam Penyelenggaraan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, Penyokong sekolah dalam penggalangan dana, mendorong Perhatian dan Komitmen Masyarakat terhadap penyelenggaraan Pendidikan yang bermutu di SMPN 1 Gedeg, menjadi Mediator Penyampaian Pesan Sekolah-Orang Tua, Mengadakan Iuran Kas Kelas Orang Tua dan Mengisi Formulir “Testimoni Orang Tua”, memberikan waktu dan perhatian pada anak saat mengerjakan projek, orang tua sebagai sumber belajar anak di rumah, Menyediakan fasilitas dan sarana pendukung pengerjaan Projek dan Mendidik melalui contoh perilaku (Role Model). (2) Faktor dominan yang dimiliki orang tua dalam menjalankan perannya mendukung implementasi P5 diantaranya didasarkan pada orientasi nilai, orientasi tujuan masa depan serta keinginan untuk selalu mengetahui perkembangan belajar anak.

Berbagai bentuk peran yang dilakukan orang tua dalam mendukung implementasi Projek dapat dianalisis menggunakan teori tindakan sosial Max Weber bahwa berbagai peran yang dilakukan oleh orang tua adalah tindakan rasional berbasis rasionalitas nilai dan rasionalitas instrumental. Analisis teori Ekologi Urie Brofenbrenner relevan digunakan dalam penelitian ini bahwa orang tua sebagai “Mikrosistem” dalam perkembangan perilaku anak.

Normatively, the structure of the independent curriculum consists of intra-curricular and co-curricular learning, namely the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. Project-based learning requires the participation of parents in supporting this activity. However, in practice, the involvement of parents in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project has not been optimal. This study aims to describe the role of parents in supporting the implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile and identify the dominant factors that influence parents to play a role in supporting the implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The sample in this study used a purposive technique with a total of nine informants, consisting of one school principal and eight parents.

The results of this study describe that 1) The role of parents in supporting the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project both at school and at home includes contributing ideas in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, supporting schools in fundraising, encouraging community attention and commitment to the implementation Quality education at Gedeg 1 Public Middle School, becoming a Mediator for School-Parent Message Delivery, Organizing Parent Class Cash Fees and Filling in the "Parent Testimonial" Form, giving time and attention to children when working on projects, parents as a source of children's learning at home , Provide facilities and means to support Project and Educate work through examples of behavior (Role Model). (2) The dominant factors that parents have in carrying out their role in supporting the implementation of P5 include being based on value orientation, future goal orientation, and the desire to always know the development of their children's learning.

Various forms of roles played by parents in supporting the implementation of the project can be analyzed using Max Weber's social action theory, which states that the various roles played by parents are rational actions based on value rationality and instrumental rationality. Analysis of the relevant Urie Brofenbrenner Ecological Theory used in this study shows that parents are "microsystems" in the development of children's behavior.
