Pengembangan E-book Berbasis Project Based Learning dengan Kearifan Lokal di Bojonegoro untuk Melatihkan Kemampuan Bioentrepreneurship

Development of Project-Based Learning E-Book with Local Wisdom in Bojonegoro to Train Bioentrepreneurship Skills

Pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang unggul menjadi salah satu fokus utama dalam pendidikan, khususnya dalam membekali siswa dengan kemampuan yang relevan untuk menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21, salah satunya yaitu bioentrepreneurship. Hal ini menjadi relevan mengingat kebutuhan untuk menciptakan generasi yang tidak hanya memahami biologi, tetapi mampu mengaplikasikan ilmu tersebut untuk menghasilkan solusi inovatif dan bernilai ekonomi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-book berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal Bojonegoro pada materi ekosistem untuk melatih kemampuan bioentrepreneurship siswa yang valid, praktis dan efektif serta mengetahui profil agrowitasata  Pengintegrasian kearifan lokal, seperti agrowisata belimbing dan salak wedi, menjadi relevan dalam mendukung Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) sekaligus meningkatkan keterhubungan materi dengan kehidupan nyata siswa. Model PjBL dipilih karena memungkinkan siswa belajar melalui pengalaman langsung, namun perangkat pembelajaran berbasis media digital seperti E-book masih terbatas, sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut. Uji Kelayakan didapat dari hasil validasi dosen ahli media dan materi serta satu orang guru biologi. Komponen validasi terdiri dari kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian dan kelayakan bahasa. Uji Kepraktisan didapat dari hasil angket respons siswa serta hasil uji keterbacaan dengan menggunakan grafik Fry. Uji keefektifan didapat dari hasil nilai pretest dan posttest serta nilai N-gain. Pengembangan E-book dilakukan dengan model research and development 4D. Berikut ini adalah hasil penelitian meliputi: 1) Profil kearifan lokal di Bojonegoro 2) Hasil pengembangan E-book. 3) Hasil Validasi e-book, 3) Hasil uji kepraktisan e-book, 4) Hasil uji keefektifan e-book untuk melatih kemampuan bioentrepreneurship. E-book yang dihasilkan telah divalidasi dengan skor rata-rata 3,76 untuk kelayakan isi, 3,67 untuk kelayakan penyajian, dan 4,00 untuk kelayakan bahasa, yang menunjukkan kategori sangat valid. Dari segi kepraktisan, tingkat keterbacaan berada pada level 10, sesuai untuk siswa kelas X SMA, dengan respons siswa yang sangat positif sebesar 98,50%. Efektivitas E-book dibuktikan melalui rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 93, dengan peningkatan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,87 (kategori tinggi) dan nilai sig 0,000 pada uji-T. Nilai N-gain pada indikator bioentrepreneurship menunjukkan hasil tinggi: observasi permasalahan (0,74), inovasi produk (0,96), analisis penjualan (0,93), dan refleksi (0,88).Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-book berbasis PjBL dengan kearifan lokal Bojonegoro valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan bioentrepreneurship siswa.

The development of superior human resources has become one of the main focuses in education, particularly in equipping students with relevant skills to face the challenges of the 21st century, one of which is bioentrepreneurship. This is relevant given the need to create a generation that not only understands biological science but is also capable of applying it to produce innovative and economically valuable solutions. This research aims to develop a Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based E-book integrating the local wisdom of Bojonegoro into ecosystem materials to train students’ bioentrepreneurship skills in a valid, practical, and effective manner, as well as to explore the profile of agrotourism in the region. The integration of local wisdom, such as starfruit and salak wedi agrotourism, is relevant for supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while enhancing the connection between the subject matter and students’ real-life experiences.The PjBL model was chosen because it allows students to learn through hands-on experiences. However, digital media-based learning tools such as E-books are still limited, prompting this research to address this need. Feasibility testing was conducted through validation by media and material expert lecturers as well as a biology teacher. The validation components include content feasibility, presentation feasibility, and language feasibility. Practicality testing was obtained through student response questionnaires and readability tests using the Fry graph. The development of the E-book followed the 4D research and development model. The research results include: 1) The profile of local wisdom in Bojonegoro, 2) The development outcomes of the E-book, 3) The validation results of the E-book. 4) The practicality test results of the E-book. 5) The effectiveness test results of the E-book in training bioentrepreneurship skills. The E-book has been validated with an average score of 3.76 for content feasibility, 3.67 for presentation feasibility, and 4.00 for language feasibility, indicating a highly valid category. In terms of practicality, the readability level is at level 10, appropriate for 10th-grade high school students, with highly positive student responses of 98.50%. The effectiveness of the E-book is demonstrated by an average post-test score of 93, an N-gain score improvement of 0.87 (high category), and a significance value of 0.000 in the T-test. The N-gain values for bioentrepreneurship indicators also showed high results: problem observation (0.74), product innovation (0.96), sales analysis (0.93), and reflection (0.88). The findings indicate that the PjBL-based E-book integrating Bojonegoro’s local wisdom is valid, practical, and effective as a learning medium for training students’ bioentrepreneurship skills.
