Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dalam penerapan metode Treasure Hunt untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS tema 5 Pahlawanku siswa kelas IV SDN Cengkok Tarokan Kediri, (2) mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa dalam penerapan metode Treasure Hunt untuk meningkatkan hasil tema 5 Pahlawanku siswa kelas IV SDN Cengkok Tarokan Kediri, (3) mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan metode Treasure Hunt untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS tema 5 Pahlawanku siswa kelas IV SDN Cengkok Tarokan Kediri.
Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 tahapan, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan dan pengamatan, (3) refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan teknik observasi dan tes. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IV SDN Cengkok Tarokan Kediri dan 24 siswa kelas IV SDN Cengkok Tarokan Kediri.
Hasil analisis data penilitian yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: (1) aktivitas guru pada siklus I mencapai skor ketercapaian 73,75%, siklus II mencapai skor ketercapaian 90,625%, (2) aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh skor 74%, siklus II mencapai skor ketercapaian 92%, (3) hasil belajar siswa sebelum diterapkan metode Treasure Hunt sebesar 58%, setelah dilakukan penelitian pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa mencapai skor ketercapaian 70,83%, siklus II mencapai skor ketercapaian 83,33%. Dari hasil penelitian di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan penerapan metode Treasure Hunt dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa pada materi Kerajaan Hindu-Budha di Indonesia kelas IV SDN Cengkok Tarokan Kediri.

This study aims to (1) describe teacher activities in applying the Treasure Hunt method to improve social studies learning outcomes of 5th theme “pahlawanku” at 4th grade student’s Cengkok Tarokan Kediri Elementary School, (2) describe student activities in applying the Treasure Hunt method to improve social studies learning outcomes of 5th theme “pahlawanku” at 4th grade student’s Cengkok Tarokan Kediri Elementary School, (3) describes improvement in student learning outcomes after the Treasure Hunt method was used to improve social studies learning outcomes of 5th theme “pahlawanku” at 4th grade student’s Cengkok Tarokan Kediri Elementary School.
This study used a class action research design (CAR), which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation and observation, (3) reflection. Data collection techniques used are by observation and test techniques. The subjects of this study were fourth grade teachers of Cengkok Tarokan Kediri Elementary School and 24 fourth grade students at Cengkok Tarokan Kediri Elementary School.
The results of the analysis obtained are as follows: (1) teacher activities in the first cycle reached an achievement score of 73.75%, the second cycle achieved an achievement score of 90.625%, (2) the activity of students in the first cycle scored 74%, cycle II achieved the achievement score 92%, (3) student learning outcomes before this research are 58%, after application of treasure hunt method in the first cycle student learning outcomes reached an achievement score of 70.83%, the second cycle achieved an achievement score of 83.33%. From the results of the above research, it can be concluded that the application of the Treasure Hunt method can improve students' social studies learning outcomes in Hindu-Buddhist Kingdom material in Indonesia in grade IV of Cengkok Tarokan Kediri Elementary School.
