The main study in this research discusses the
performance of MSMEs in Magetan Regency. This research aims to determine the
influence of financial behavior, human resources, operations, marketing and
government policies on the performance of MSMEs in Magetan Regency. The type of
research used is quantitative research with an associative approach, with the
subjects of this research being MSME actors in Magetan Regency. The population
used was 147,991 MSMEs, the sample in this study was 135 MSMEs which were determined
using multivariate techniques. The data collection technique uses a
questionnaire with a total of 34 statements. The measurement scale in this
study uses a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear
regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 23 application. Based on the
research results, it shows that financial behavior variables do not have a
positive effect on the performance of MSMEs in Magetan Regency. Human resource
variables do not have a negative effect on the performance of MSMEs in Magetan
Regency. Operational variables do not have a positive effect on the performance
of MSMEs in Magetan Regency. Marketing variables have a positive effect on the
performance of MSMEs in Magetan Regency. And government policy variables have a
positive effect on the performance of MSMEs in Magetan Regency. Based on this
research, the author provides suggestions to MSME players to improve
interpersonal relationships in the form of providing motivation to employees.
Apart from that, good communication between MSME owners and employees is
important. It is hoped that the government or related agencies will be able to
increase information regarding marketing digitalization strategies for the
development and improvement of MSMEs. So that providing this information can be
accessed easily and can be implemented by MSME owners. Apart from that, the
government also has an important role in increasing the promotion of MSMEs so
that MSME products can compete at the level. For future research, it is hoped
that this research can be used as a reference source for similar research by
adding other variables outside this research.
