IMPLEMENTATION OF THE JIGSAW TYPE OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TO STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN CLASS XI OF MESIN BUBUT MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AT SMK NEGERI 13 SURABAYA
Pendidikan adalah usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi diri. Dalam proses pembelajaran penerapan suatu model pembelajaran yang variatif dan menarik dapat menghindarkan siswa dari rasa jenuh sehingga akan tercipta suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan nyaman. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa minat belajar dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mesin Bubut kelas XI.
Jenis penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan tes menggunakan metode penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif.
Dari hasil minat belajar siswa didapatkan persentase 67% dengan kriteria baik. Hasil belajar siswa didapatkan persentase sebesar 91%. Adapun hasil studi dengan uji N-Gain penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan kategori cukup efektif.

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential. In the learning process, applying a varied and interesting learning model can prevent students from feeling bored so that a pleasant and comfortable learning atmosphere will be created. The aim of this research is to analyze interest in learning and improving student learning outcomes in class XI Lathe Machine subjects.
This type of qualitative research uses data collection techniques in the form of observations and tests using the research method of Classroom Action Research (PTK). The collected data was then analyzed descriptively.
From the results of students interest in learning, the percentage was found to be 67% with good criteria. Student learning outcomes obtained a percentage of 91%. The results of the study using the N-Gain test, the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model, can improve student learning outcomes in the quite effective category.
