OPTIMIZATION OF MUTUAL COOPERATION CHARACTER THROUGH THE FRIENDSHIP CAMP PROGRAM AT CLC INSAN CERDAS INDONESIA
Gotong royong merupakan kebiasaan yang dapat ditumbuhkan melalui lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat dan lembaga pendidikan. Namun pada faktanya lembaga pendidikan belum dapat menumbuhkan karakter gotong royong dengan optimal, hal ini disebebkan karena adanya circle pertemanan antar peserta didik, dimana peserta didik hanya peduli terhadap circle mereka sendiri. PKBM Insan Cerdas Indonesia menghadirkan program friendship camp guna mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui optimalisasi pelaksanaan program friendship camp dalam menumbuhkan karakter gotong royong.
Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dimana analisis data dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan hasil penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah PKBM, wakil kepala sekolah PKBM, koordinator paket C, koordinator pemberdayaan, koordinator bimbingan konseling, tutor, dan peserta didik paket C. Lokasi penelitian berada di PKBM Insan Cerdas Indonesia Jl. Ngagel Tirtosari No. 5, Ngagelrejo, Kecamatan Wonokromo, Surabaya, Jawa Timur.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan program friendship camp yang diselenggarakan oleh PKBM Insan Cerdas Indonesia dimulai dari tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan kegiatan sosialisasi dan pembekalan. Pengorganisasian dilakukan dengan membentuk panitia antara tutor dan peserta didik. Pelaksanaan dilakukan selama tiga hari dua malam dengan memperkuat karakter gotong royong melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada. Pengawasan dilakukan oleh tutor. Evaluasi dilakukan setelah kegiatan friendship camp terlaksana untuk melihat karakter gotong royong peserta didik. dari indikator program tersebut friendship camp dapat meningkatkan karakter gotong royong. Terbukti dengan perilaku peserta didik setelah mengikuti kegiatan friendship camp.
Mutual cooperation is a habit that can be cultivated through the family, community and educational institutions. However, in fact educational institutions have not been able to foster the character of mutual cooperation optimally, this is caused by the existence of friendship circles between students, where students only care about their own circle. CLC Insan Cerdas Indonesia presents a friendship camp program to overcome this problem. This research aims to determine the optimization of the implementation of the friendship camp program in cultivating the character of mutual cooperation.
The method used is qualitative with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation where data analysis involves data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding research results. The subjects of this research were CLC school principals, CLC deputy principals, package C coordinators, empowerment coordinators, guidance and counseling coordinators, tutors, and package C students. The research location was at CLC Insan Cerdas Indonesia Jl. Ngagel Tirtosari No. 5, Ngagelrejo, Wonokromo District, Surabaya, East Java.
The results of this research show that the friendship camp program organized by CLC Insan Smart Indonesia starts from the planning, organizing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages. Planning is carried out with socialization and briefing activities. Organizing is done by forming a committee between tutors and students. The implementation was carried out for three days and two nights by strengthening the character of mutual cooperation through existing activities. Supervision is carried out by tutors. Evaluation is carried out after the friendship camp activities are carried out to see the mutual cooperation character of the students. From the program indicators, friendship camps can improve the character of mutual cooperation. This is proven by the behavior of students after participating in friendship camp activities.
