Keterampilan berbahasa pada peserta didik, khususnya menyimak dan berbicara memiliki manfaat untuk mendapatkan dan memahami informasi, melancarkan berbicara, serta memperoleh pengetahuan. Peserta didik tunarungu mengalami permasalahan pada keterampilan berbahasa, sehingga memerlukan upaya yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa kepada peserta didik tunarungu, salah satunya menggunakan Metode Maternal Reflektif (MMR). Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh MMR terhadap hasil keterampilan berbahasa peserta didik tunarungu kelas II SD di SLBN Gedangan. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah enam peserta didik tunarungu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis pra-eksperimen tipe one group pre-test post-test design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes lisan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik nonparametris perhitungan rumus Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test bantuan SPSS V.25.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perolehan Zhitung 2,2 > Ztabel 1,96 dan Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.028<0.05, dapat dikatakan bahwa MMR berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berbahasa peserta didik tunarungu. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini, MMR dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa peserta didik tunarungu, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa, meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman bahasa lisan, dan memperlancar kemampuan berbicara peserta didik tunarungu.

Language skills in students, especially seeing and speaking, have benefits for obtaining and understanding information, fluency in speaking, and gaining knowledge. Deaf students experience problems with language skills, so efforts are needed to improve language skills for deaf students, one of which is using the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR). This research aims to examine the effect of MMR on the language skills results of deaf students in grade II elementary school at SLBN Gedangan. The subjects of this research were six deaf students. This research uses a quantitative approach to pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design type. Data collection techniques using oral tests. The data analysis technique uses non-parametric statistics by calculating the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test formula the help of SPSS V.25.0. The research results show that the acquisition of Zcount 2,2 > Ztable 1,96 and Asymp. (2-tailed) 0.028<0.05, it can be said that MMR has a significant effect on the language skills of deaf students. The implication of the results of this research, MMR can improve the language skills of deaf students, so that it can be used as a method of learning language skills, improve the ability to understand spoken language, and improve the speaking skills of deaf students.
