Penelitian ini mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran biologi berbasis Scientific Approach pada materi Ekosistem. Tujuan penelitian adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pengembangan perangkat menggunakan model 4 D (Four D Model) dan di ujicobakan di kelas X SMK menggunakan rancangan One group Pretest-Posttest Design. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode validasi, pemberian tes, observasi dan angket. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa validitas Silabus, RPP, Buku Ajar Siswa (BAS), Lember Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar berkategori sangat baik dan reliabel dengan rata-rata reliabilitas 89%. Keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik dan reliabel dengan rata-rata reliabilitas 96%. Aktivitas siswa yang menonjol adalah melakukan percobaan. Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan pembelajaran berkategori sangat kuat. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa untuk hasil belajar pengetahuan (pemahaman konsep) rata-rata skor peningkatan 0,77 (gain tinggi). Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran biologi berbasis Scientific Approach pada materi Ekosistem yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

The thesis is Biology Learning Tools are developed based on scientific approach on ecosystem material. The study aims to create learning tools that feasible to improve the student learning outcomes. The tools development was determined through the Four D Model whichexamined in Vocational School X class using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection was conducted using validation method, given test, observation and questionnaire. The data were analyzed using quantitative-qualitative descriptive analysis. Study results showed very good category of Syllabus Validity, RPP, Student Learning Book, Student Task Sheet, and Learning Outcome Assessment Tools with the average of reability value 89%. The RPP was on good category with the average of reability value 96%. A prominent student activity was conducting experiments. Student responses to the tools and learning were on very strong category. Improvement of learning outcome for knowledge learning outcome (conceptual understanding) have the average of increment score 0,77 (high gain). With regards to data analysis, Biology Learning Tools based on Scientific Approach on ecosystem material were feasible to improve the student learning outcomes.
