Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menghasilkan model pelatihan sertifikasi kompetensi, 2) menghasilkan perangkat pelatihan, yang meliputi : a) buku panduan rekruitmen peserta, b) buku panduan pelaksanaan pelatihan, c) buku ajar pelatihan, d) rencana pembelajaran semester, e) menghasilkan lembar kerja peserta didik, 3) menjelaskan keefektifan model pelatihan terhadap kompetensi keterampilan dan kompetensi sikap peserta terhadap sertifikasi kompetensi otomasi industri teknik sensor.
Model penelitian Thiagarajan 4-D dipilih dalam penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 108 orang yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu 54 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 54 untuk kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data untuk mengukur keefektifan model menggunakan uji t (independent sample t-test) dengan membandingkan dua kelompok.
Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu, 1) sebuah produk berupa model pelatihan sertifikasi kompetensi yang layak, 2) buku panduan pelaksanaan pelatihan sertifikasi kompetensi otomasi industri teknik sensor yang layak, 3) buku panduan rekrutmen peserta kompetensi otomasi industri teknik sensor yang layak, 4) buku ajar pelatihan sertifikasi kompetensi otomasi industri teknik sensor yang layak, 5) rencana pembelajaran semester yang layak, 6) lembar kerja peserta didik otomasi industri teknik sensor yang layak, 7) model pelatihan efektif terhadap kompetensi keterampilan peserta sertifikasi kompetensi otomasi industri teknik sensor, dan 8) model pelatihan efektif terhadap kompetensi sikap peserta sertifikasi kompetensi otomasi industri teknik sensor.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan, model pelatihan coaching cooperative layak digunakan dalam pelatihan sertifikasi dalam bidang penerbangan karena dalam model ini terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan sikap taruna. Buku panduan pelatihan layak digunakan oleh lembaga pelatihan kerja sertifikasi sejenis, baik dalam lingkup Poltekbang Surabaya maupun lembaga sertifiksi profesi lainnya

This study aimed to determine 1) the worthiness of the training model of the competency certification integration, 2) the worthiness of the training tools, which include : a) the recruitment manuals, b) the training implementation manual, c) the training textbooks, d) the semester learning plans, e) the student worksheet, 3) Effectiveness of training models on the competencies skills and competence of participants attitudes towards the sensor engineering industry automation competency certification.
Thiagarajan 4-D research model was selected in research and development. Research subjects involved with 108 participants divided into two groups, consisting of 54 for the experimental class and 54 for the control class. Data analysis techniques used to measure the effectiveness of the model using the t test (independent sample t - test) by comparing the two groups.
The results of the development research are, 1) a product in the form of a viable competency certification training model, 2) a guidebook for implementing the implementation of the sensor industry automation competency certification training is feasible, 3) a guidebook for recruitment of participants in the competence of the sensor sensor industry automation competency is feasible, 4) training manuals of competence for sensor industrial automation competency certification, 5) feasible semester learning plans, 6) the worksheets for students in the proper sensor engineering industry automation, 7) training model effective on competence the skills of the sensor engineering industry automation competency certification participant, and (8) training model is effective against the competency attitudes of the sensor engineering industry automation competency certification competency participants.
Based on the results of research and development, the coaching cooperatif training model is valid for certification training in the field of aviation because this model is proven to be effective in improving skill and attitudes. The training manual is suitable for use by similar certification job training institution within scope of Poltekbang Surabaya and other professional certification institution
