Pengaruh Alat Bantu Belajar Renang Terhadap Hasil Belajar Renang Anak Usia 6-8 Tahun
The Effect of Swimming Learning Aids on the Swimming Learning Outcomes of Children Aged 6-8 Years
Latar Belakang Masalah: Pembelajaran renang di Indonesia terutama pada sekolah masih menghadapi banyak kendala yang harus diperhatikan. Masalah yang sering terjadi adalah terbatasnya fasilitas yang layak. Banyaknya pendidik atau pelatih yang mengeluhkan adanya sarana yang ada, terutama diwilayah pedesaan. Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan alat bantu terhadap hasil belajar renang pada anak usia 6-8 tahun. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh anak yang ikut dalam Club Aquaspint sejumlah 50 anak. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dan mendapatkan sampel sebanyak 17 anak. Instrumen penelitian dilakukan dengan cara observasi. Analisis data menggunakan descriptive statistics yang mencakup analisis data deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil: Hasil analisis data deskriptif statistik pretest memperoleh nilai mean sebesar 8,29, sedangkan posttest memperoleh nilai mean sebesar 11,24. Hasil uji hipotesis pretest dan posttest pada Equal variances assumed memperoleh nilai t-hitung 7,773 > nilai t-tabel 2,13145 atau nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh alat bantu belajar renang terhadap hasil belajar renang anak usia 6-8 tahun. Keterbatasan yang di dapat oleh peneliti adalah penelitian ini hanya melibatkan 17 anak yang berusia 6-8 tahun, sehingga hasilnya tidak dapat diterapkan ke anak-anak di luar rentang usia tersebut.

Background of the Problem: Swimming learning in Indonesia, especially in schools, still faces many obstacles that must be taken into account. The problem that often occurs is the limited availability of adequate facilities. Many educators or trainers complain about the existing facilities, especially in rural areas. Research Objectives: This research aims to utilize assistive devices for swimming learning outcomes in children aged 6-8 years. Method: This research uses an experimental research method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population used was all 50 children who took part in Club Aquaspint. Sampling used purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 17 children. The research instrument was carried out by observation. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics which includes descriptive data analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. Results: The results of the pretest descriptive statistical data analysis obtained a mean value of 8.29, while the posttest obtained a mean value of 11.24. The results of the pretest and posttest hypothesis tests on Equal variances assumed obtained a t-count value of 7.773 > t-table value of 2.13145 or a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is an influence of swimming learning aids on the swimming learning outcomes of children aged 6-8 years. The limitation that researchers found was that this study only involved 17 children aged 6-8 years, so the results cannot be applied to children outside that age range.
