In the context of economic development, villages
are granted autonomy to independently manage their potentials in order to
enhance Village Original Revenue (VOR). As an effort to increase VOR, it is
necessary to optimize strategies in managing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM
Desa), as exemplified by Usaha Mandiri BUM Desa in Plesungan
Village, Kapas Sub-District, Bojonegoro Regency. Hence, this research aims to
identify village development strategies in boosting village original revenue
through the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa) Usaha Mandiri in
Plesungan Village, Kapas Sub-District, Bojonegoro Regency. This study employs a
qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The sampling technique
utilized by the researcher is purposive sampling. Informants sampled include
the Village Head of Plesungan, 3 BUM Desa executives, 2 Village Officials, and
members of the community. Data collection techniques encompass Observation,
Interviews, and Documentation. The analysis technique employed is SWOT analysis
(Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to identify the factors
influencing BUM Desa management. The findings reveal that Usaha
Mandiri BUMDes in Plesungan Village is operational, yet not fully
optimized due to limited Human Resources (HR), unplanned programs, and constrained
infrastructure and facilities.
