Analysis of Parental Attachment Differences with Teenage Santri in View of Motives to Enter Islamic Boarding Schools
Motif masuk pesantren santri bersifat variatif. Terdapat motif yang bersifat internal dan eksternal. Motif remaja masuk pesantren ini memiliki hubungan dengan attachment orang tua sebagai figur lekat terdekat remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan attachment orang tua dengan santri remaja ditinjau dari motif masuk pesantren. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan karakteristik remaja putri yang mukim di pesantren kurang dari 1 tahun. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada 72 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan menggunakan skala attachment orang tua. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,728 lebih besar dari 0,05 (0,728>0,05) yang artinya hipotesis nol (Ho) pada penelitian ini diterima yakni tidak ada perbedaan attachment orang tua dengan santri remaja ditinjau dari motif masuk pesantren.
Motives for entering Islamic boarding schools are varied. There are motives that are internal and external. The motive of adolescents entering Islamic boarding schools has a relationship with the attachment of parents as the closest attached figure to adolescents. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in attachment between parents and young students in terms of their motives for entering Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with the characteristics of young women who lived in Islamic boarding schools for less than 1 year. The subjects used in this study were 72 people. The instrument used uses the parental attachment scale. The analysis used in this study is the independent sample t-test. The results of data analysis showed a significance value of 0.728 was greater than 0.05 (0.728 > 0.05), which means that the null hypothesis (Ho) in this study was accepted, namely that there was no difference in attachment between parents and young students in terms of motives for entering Islamic boarding schools.
