This study aims to analyze the usability level of the android-based teacher attendance application "SIAPIK DAPODIK" which has been used by ASN teachers consisting of civil servants and PPPK in Magetan Regency. The SIAPIK DAPODIK application is an application developed by the Magetan Regency Government which is managed by the Magetan Regency Education, Youth and Sports Office as a tool for recording teacher attendance. In this study, the method used is the System Usability Scale (SUS), which measures usability based on three main aspects: effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
The study used SUS questionnaires and Task Scenarios to collect data on 60 ASN teachers from kindergarten, elementary and junior high school levels. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed with a quantitative approach using SPSS Software to measure the level of validity and reliability of the instruments that have been used. The results of the study showed that the SIAPIK DAPODIK application obtained an average SUS score of 75.16 which can be interpreted as being included in Grade 'B' or included in the 'Good' category in the usability interpretation scale. In terms of effectiveness, out of 60 respondents, there were 58 respondents who were able to complete the entire task, in other words, the success rate in the effectiveness aspect reached 99.44%. Time efficiency showed that respondents could complete tasks in an average of 5.87 seconds per task, this shows a relatively fast time.
In this study, it also found several obstacles such as disruptions in the Login and Logout processes, then there are obstacles from the display on the attendance menu, namely there is no display that shows the attendance time limit and the return attendance deadline. In addition, other obstacles were also found such as respondents not being able to see evidence of permit requirements that had been uploaded previously. Based on some of these findings, the author provides improvement recommendations to improve the quality of usability in applications. The results of this research are expected to be the basis for application developers to be able to improve the quality of digital services on the SIAPIK DAPODIK application.
