Latihan merupakan suatu proses perubahan ke arah yang lebih baik yaitu untuk meningkatkan kualitas fisik, kemampuan fungsional tubuh, dan kualitas psikis atlet. Plyometric merupakan teknik latihan yang digunakan oleh atlet disemua jenis olahraga untuk meningkatkan strength dan power otot tungkai. Untuk mengembangkan strength dan power otot tungkai maka diperlukan latihan hurdle hops dan tuck jump. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tentang: (1) pengaruh latihan hurdle hops terhadap strength otot tungkai; (2) pengaruh latihan hurdle hops terhadap power otot tungkai; (3) pengaruh latihan tuck jump terhadap strength otot tungkai; (4) pengaruh latihan tuck jump terhadap power otot tungkai; (5) perbedaan pengaruh latihan hurdle hops dan tuck jump terhadap strength otot tungkai; (6) perbedaan pengaruh latihan hurdle hops dan tuck jump terhadap power otot tungkai. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah atlet pencak silat Ranting Kostrad Kompi-C yang beranggotakan 30 orang.
Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode ekperimen semu. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan Non-Randomize Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design, dengan anilisis data menggunakan ANOVA. Proses pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes strength otot tungkai menggunakan alat tes strength dengan alat Leg Dynamometer dan tes power otot tungkai dengan alat Jump Md pada saat pretest dan postest. Selanjutnya data hasil penelitian dianaliasis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS seri 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan program latihan hurdle hops terhadap strength otot tungkai; (2) Terdapat yang signifikan program latihan hurdle hops terhadap power otot tungkai; (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan program latihan tuck jump terhadap strength otot tungkai; (4) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan program latihan tuck jump terhadap power otot tungkai; (5) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan program latihan hurdle hops dan tuck jump terhadap strength otot tungkai; (6) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan program latihan hurdle hops dan tuck jump terhadap power otot tungkai.
Berdasarkan analisis diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan strength otot tungkai dan power otot tungkai untuk masing-masing kelompok setelah diberikan latihan. Selain itu terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara ketiga kelompok dilihat dari peningkatan strength dan power otot tungkai melalui uji ANOVA. Dimana latihan hurdle hops memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dari latihan tuck jump dan kelompok kontrol terhadap strength otot tungkai dan power otot tungkai.

Pratice is a process to be better in a positive way, such as improving physical quality, body function, and athlete’s psychological quality. Plyometric is a practical technique which is implemented by all athletes with all kinds of sports to impove power and exsplosive power. In order to improve leg muscle’s power and its explosive power, so the athletes need to do hurdle hops and tuck jump pratice.
The purpose of this research is to analyze: (1) the effect of hurdle hops pratice toward leg muscle’s power; (2) the effect of hurdle hops toward the power of athletes’ leg muscles; (3) the effect of tuck jump pratice toward leg muscle’s power; (4) the effect of tuck jump toward the power of athletes’ leg muscles; (5) the distinctions of both the effect of hurdle hops and tuck jump pratice toward leg muscle’s power; (6) the distinctions of both the effect of hurdle hops and tuck jump pratice toward leg muscle’s exsplosive power. The target of this research is 30 Kostrad Company-C martial arts athletes. The type of this research used quantitative and pseudo-experimental method. Moreover, this research design was Non-Randomize Control Group Pretest-Postest Design in which the anlysis data used was ANOVA. The process of getting the data was done through conducting leg muscle test by using a strength measurement media in a form of leg dynamometer, and leg muscle’s power test by using Jump MD the process of pretest and posttest. Furthermore, the result was analyzed by using SPSS version 22.0.
The result shows; (1) There is a significant effect of hurdle hops pratice toward leg muscle’s power; (2) There is a significant effect of hurdle hops pratice toward the power of atheletes’ leg muscles; (3) There is significant effect of the effect of tuck jump pratice toward leg muscle’s power; (4) There is a significant effect of the effect of tuck jump toward the powe of athletes’ leg muscles; (5) there is a significant effect of the distinctions of both the effect of hurdle hops and tuck jump pratice toward leg muscle’s power; (6) There is a significant effect of the distinctions of both the effect of hurdle hops and tuck jump pratice toward leg muscle’s explosive power. Based on those exsplanations, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of leg muscle’s power and the power of athletes’ leg muscles for each group after praticing. In another hand, there is a distinction between three groups by the improvement of leg muscle’s power and the power of athletes’ leg muscles through ANOVA test in which hurdle hops pratice gives a better effect of leg muscle’s power improvement than the tuck jump and the controlled group.
