Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) menguji perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang diajar dengan model guided discovery learning dan model problem based learning, (2) menguji perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas tinggi dan rendah, (3) menguji pengaruh interaksi antara model dan tingkat krativitas terhadap hasil belajar matematika.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA kelas XII MIPA di SMA Negeri Bojonegoro. Pemilihan subjek berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling. Subjek terdiri dari Kelas XII MIPA1 dan XII MIPAdi SMA 4 Bojonegoro yang berjumlah 64 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan Kelas XII MIPA1 dan XII MIPA2 di SMA Negeri 3
Bojonegoro yang berjumlah 65 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk uraian dan data tingkat kreativitas dikumpulkan dengan test kreativitas. Data yang terkumpul diolah secara statistik dengan menggunakan teknik analisis varians (anava) dua jalur dengan menggunakan taraf signifikansi 0,05.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar matematika antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model guided discovery learning dan model problem based learning (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas tinggi dan rendah dan (3) ada pengaruh interaksi antara model dan tingkat kreativitas siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika.
Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini disarakan agar: (1) guru perlu mengetahui kecenderungan tingkat kreativitas siswa karena dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar yang baik, serta antara guru dan siswa menentukan model yang sesuai dengan kreativitas siswa, (2) dalam mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran, guru perlu menyajikan bahan ajar berupa masalah yang harus dipecahkan oleh siswa, intervensi yang diberikan harus minimal ketika benar-benar dibutuhkan siswa, agar intervensi yang dilakukan efektif perlu mengetahui pengetahuan awal siswa (prior knowledge) dan mempertimbangkan berbagai alternatif solusi masalah yang berada dalam koridor pengetahuan siswa.

This research aims to: (1) examine the differences of students’ mathematics learning outcomes between students taught using guided discovery learning and those taught using problem based learning (2) test the differences of students’ mathematics learning outcomes between students who have high and low creativity levels, (3) test the effect the interaction between the learning model s and the level of creativity in students’ mathematics learning outcomes.
This study used a 2 x 2 factorial design. The research subjects were the students Grade XII majoring in Science in SMAN Bojonegoro. The subjects were selected using cluster random sampling. The subjects consist of 64 students of XII MIPA1 and XII MIPA2 in SMAN 4 Bojonegoro as the experimental class and 65 students of XII MIPA1 and XII MIPA2 in SMAN 3 Bojonegoro as the control group. The data of the students’ learning outcomes were obtained from the result of essay tests and the data of students’ creativity levels were obtained from creativity questionaire. The data obtained were then analized statistically using two-way anava using 0.05 level of significance.
The results of the study showed that : (1) there was a significant difference of student’s learning outcomes between the students taught using guided discovery learning and those taught using problem based learning. (2) there was a significant difference of student’s learning outcomes between the students having high creativity level and those having low creativity level, and (3) there was an interaction between the learning models and the students’ creativity level to the students’ learning outcomes .
Based on the findings of the study it was suggested that : (1) the eachers need to know the tendency of the level of student creativity because it can affect good learning outcomes, and between teachers and students determine the learning model that is consistent with student creativity, (2) in implementing the learning model , teachers need to provide a problem that the students need to solve with a minimum intervention. To make an intervention effective, the students’ prior knowledge and some alternative solutions of the problems in the students’ range of knowledge should also be considered.
