Kemampuan manajerial dan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Kinerja guru yang meningkat akan dapat meningkatkan kualitas mutu pembelajaran dan pendidikan di madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh kemampuan manajerial terhadap kinerja guru madrasah tsanawiyah di kecamatan Manyar kabupaten Gresik (2) pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru madrasah tsanawiyah di kecamatan Manyar kabupaten Gresik (3) pengaruh kemampuan manajerial dan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru madrasah tsanawiyah di kecamatan Manyar kabupaten Gresik.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari dua variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat , di mana kemampuan manajerial (X1) dan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah (X2) sebagai variabel bebas dan kinerja guru (Y) sebagai variabel terikat..
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala dan guru madrasah tsanawiyah di kecamatan Manyar kabupaten Gresik dengan sampel sebanyak 8 kepala madrasah dan 144 guru. Tehnik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik proportional random sampling . Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis dengan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan program SPSS 21.0 diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut : (1) Uji hipotesis 1 dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan manajerial kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru madrasah Tsanawiyah di kecamatan Manyar kabupaten Gresik. (2) Uji hipotesis 2 disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara supervisi akademik kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru madrasah Tsanawiyah di kecamatan Manyar kabupaten Gresik. (3) Uji hipotesis 3 disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan manajerial dan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru madrasah Tsanawiyah di Kecamatan Manyar Kabupaten Gresik

The managerial ability and academic supervision of the madrasah headmaster is one of the factors that can improve teacher performance. Increased teacher performance will be able to improve the quality of learning and education in madrasah. This study aims to determine (1) the effect of managerial ability on the performance of madrasah tsanawiyah teachers in Manyar sub-district, Gresik regency (2) the effect of the academic supervision of the madrasah headmasters on the performance of madrasah tsanawiyah teachers in Manyar sub-district, Gresik regency (3) the effect of managerial ability and academic supervision of the madrasah headmaster simultaneously on the performance of madrasah tsanawiyah teachers in the Manyar sub-district, Gresik district.
This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The research variables consist of two independent variables and one dependent variable, where managerial ability (X1) and the academic supervision of the madrasah headmaster (X2) are the independent variables and teacher performance (Y) is the dependent variable.
The population in this study were the headmasters and teachers of the madrasah tsanawiyah in the Manyar sub-district, Gresik district, by means of 8 madrasah headmasters and 144 teachers as sample. The sampling technique used is the proportional random sampling technique. Whereas the data collections are using questionnaires and documentation afterwards analyzed with simple linear regression and multiple linear regression.
Based on the results of data analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program, the following research results were obtained: (1) Testing hypothesis 1 can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the managerial abilities of madrasah headmasters on the performance of madrasah tsanawiyah teachers in Manyar sub-district, Gresik district. (2) Hypothesis 2, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the academic supervision of the madrasah headmasters on the performance of madrasah tsanawiyah teachers in the Manyar sub-district, Gresik district. (3) Hypothesis 3, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence and significant relationship between managerial ability and academic supervision of madrasah headmasters simultaneously on the performance of madrasah tsanawiyah teachers in Manyar sub-district, Gresik regency.
