ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN TATAP MUKA TERBATAS DI ERA PANDEMI COVID-19
ANALYZE STUDENTS’ SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS IN LIMITED FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING IN THE ERA OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains (KPS) siswa pada saat pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas di salah satu SMP Negeri di provinsi Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian ini, yaitu penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini melibatkan 35 siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Instrumen yang digunakan yakni lembar tes keterampilan proses sains. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis KPS siswa pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas diperoleh nilai rata-rata 77.6%. Keterampilan tertinggi ada pada indikator mengklasifikasi dengan nilai 94.3%, sedangkan keterampilan terendah siswa ada pada indikator merumuskan masalah dengan nilai 30%. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat KPS siswa masuk kedalam kategori tinggi sehingga dapat dikatakan pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas memengaruhi peningkatan pencapaian KPS siswa dengan skor tinggi.
This research aims to analyze students' science process skills (SPS) during limited face-to-face learning in one of the public junior highschools in the East Java province. The type of this study is descriptive quantitative research. The subjects in this study involved 35 students grade VIII in one of the public junior high schools in the East Java province. The instrument that used is a science process skills test sheet. Data collection techniques used tests that were analyzed descriptively. The results of the SPS analysis of students in limited face-to-face learning obtained an average value of 77.6%. The highest skill is on the indicator of classifying with a value of 94.3%, while the lowest skill of students is on the indicator of formulating a problem with a value of 30%. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the SPS level of students is in the high category so that it can be said that limited face-toface learning affects the increase in the achievement of students' SPS with high scores.
