Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penglihatan peserta didik tunanetra yang tidak dapat difungsikan pada proses pengamatan dan observasi pada mata pelajaran IPA sehingga berakibat pada rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik pada mata pelajaran tersebut khususnya pada materi yang bersifat abstrak seperti sistem tata surya. Hal ini perlu dicarikan solusi untuk menangani masalah tersebut sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik tunanetra yang mengandalkan fungsi indera pendengaran dan perabaannya sebagai pusat penerimaan informasi dari lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan dari segi (1) kevalidan, (2) kepraktisan, (3) keefektifan produk media mock up sistem tata surya berbantuan taktil audio untuk peserta didik tunanetra. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Berdasarkan uji validitas dari beberapa ahli diperoleh hasil; (1) Ahli media 93%; (2) Ahli materi Pendidikan Luar Biasa 95%; (3) Ahli materi Sains 79%. Hasil uji kepraktisan memperoleh hasil respon pengguna yaitu guru 92,5% serta respon peserta didik mendapat rata – rata 75,5%. Hasil uji keefektifan menggunakan uji gain dan memperoleh hasil 0,6 yang berarti bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan media mock up. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media mock up sistem tata surya berbantuan taktil audio untuk peserta didik tunanetra dianggap layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.
This research is motivated by the visions of blind students who can't function in the process of observation and observation in science subjects, resulting in a low understanding of students on the subjects needed in the material reported according to the solar system. This need to find a solution to deal with the problem in accordance with the characteristics of visual impairment students who rely on the function of the sense of hearing and touch as a center for receiving information from the surrounding environment. This study aims to examine the feasibility in terms of (1) validity, (2) practicality, (3) the effectiveness media products with mock up of solar systemtactile audio assistance for visual impairment students. This development research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. Based on the validity test from several experts the results were obtained; (1) Media experts 93%; (2) Extraordinary 95% Education Material Expert; (3) Science material expert 79%. The practicality test results obtained the results of the user response, namely teacher 92.5% and the responses of students got an average of 74%. The results of the effectiveness test use the test of gain and get a result of 0.6 which means that there is an increase in learning outcomes of students using media mock up. It can be concluded that the development of media with mock up a tactile audio-assisted solar system for visual impairment students is considered appropriate for use in learning activities.
