KONFLIK BATIN TOKOH WANGA DALAM NOVEL SI ANAK SAVANA KARYA TERE LIYE (PSIKOLOGI SASTRA SIGMUND FREUD)

THE INNER CONFLICT OF THE CHARACTER WANGA IN THE NOVEL SI ANAK SAVANA BY TERE LIYE (SIGMUND FREUD'S LITERARY PSYCHOLOGY)

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa novel Si Anak Savana mengisahkan konflik batin tokoh utama, dengan segala permasalahan hidupnya. Dalam novel Si Anak Savana, pengarang menonjolkan masalah ego yang dialami oleh tokoh utamanya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel Si Anak Savana karya Tere Liye.

Rumusan masalah penelitian ini meliputi bentuk, penyebab, dan akibat dari konflik batin tokoh utama Wanga dalam novel Si Anak Savana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan: 1) bentuk konflik batin tokoh utama novel Si Anak Savana Karya Tere Liye; 2) faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi konflik batin tokoh utama Si Anak Savana karya Tere Liye; 3) akibat dari konflik batin tokoh utama novel Si Anak Savana karya Tere Liye. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan psikologi dengan teori psikologi sastra kepribadian Sigmund Freud. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Si Anak Savana karya Tere Liye. Data penelitian berupa penggalan teks novel sesuai rumusan masalah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik membaca dan mencatat serta analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik kualitatif interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi (1) Bentuk konflik batin tokoh utama (2) Penyebab konflik batin tokoh utama. (3) Akibat konflik batin yang timbul pada tokoh utama.

The background of this research is the novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye tells the inner conflict of the main character with all his life problems. In the novel Si Anak Savana, the author highlights the ego problem experienced by the main character. Based on this research is to analyze the inner conflict of the main character in the novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye.

The statement of the problems in this research includes the forms, causes, and consequences of the inner conflict in the main character Wanga in the novel Si Anak Savana.The purpose of this research is describing: 1) the forms of the inner conflict the main character novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye; 2) the factor’s underlying the main character’s inner conflict; 3) the consequences of the main character’s inner conflict in the novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye. This research approach is psychology approach with Sigmund Freud theory. The data source for this research is novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye. The data for this research are fragments of novel text’s according to the formulation of the problem. Data collection is by reading and note technique and data analysis by interactive qualitative technique. The results of the research is (1) the forms of the inner conflict main character (2) the reason of the main character’s inner conflict. (3) the consequences of the main character’s inner conflict.
