This
research aimed to learning materials based on differentiation learning oriented
with nature of science (NoS) to improve students' scientific literacy
skills in science subjects which is feasible based on aspects of validity,
practicality, and effectiveness. The design of this research was refered to the
4D research and development design, that was given to students of UPT SMP
Negeri 16 Gresik with 3 replication classes, and used a research design namely
One Groups Pretest and Posttest Design. The results of this research are (1)
the learning materials that developed was declared to be very valid in terms of
construct, content, and language criteria; (2) the learning materials that
developed was declared to be practice based on (a) the learning implementation process
quality are classified as almost all of them carried out very good, (b) all students
actively participate in learning; (3) the learning materials that developed was
declared to be effective, based on (a) the students' scientific literacy skills
is complete based on individually and classically and has increased in the medium
category, (c) most of the students gave a positive responses to learning with a
percentage of 86,28% with a very good category . So it can be concluded that learning
materials based on differentiation learning oriented with nature of science
(NoS) was declared feasible to increase student’s scientific literacy
skills based on aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
