Pengembangan Media Career Goals Road Map untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Pengambilan Keputusan Karier Siswa
Development of Media Career Goals Road Map to Improve Students' Career Decision Making Skills
Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di SMAN 1 Driyorejo menunjukkan hasil bahwa mayoritas siswa kelas XI belum memiliki gambaran yang jelas mengenai pilihan karier yang akan mereka ambil. Sedangkan untuk siswa kelas XII banyak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengambil keputusan jurusan kuliah ataupun rencana masa depan setelah lulus SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media yang berjudul Career Goals Road Map yang membantu siswa agar memiliki keterampilan pengambilan keputusan karier berdasarkan prinsip SMART Goals setting. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan reasearch and development (R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall (1984). Penelitian ini hanya dilaksanakan hingga tahap kelima yaitu revisi produk hasil uji coba lapangan awal. Hasil uji validasi oleh dua ahli materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 94%, sedangkan uji validasi oleh dua ahli media diperoleh persentase sebesar 91% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan tidak perlu direvisi. Sedangkan hasil uji ahli praktisi (konselor) sebesar 98,75% dan calon pengguna (siswa) sebesar 89,5% dengan kategori sangat baik tidak perlu direvisi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Career Goals Road Map untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengambilan keputusan karier telah memenuhi kriteria akseptabilitas yang mencakup aspek kegunaan, kelayakan, ketepatan, dan kepatutan.

Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted at SMAN 1 Driyorejo, the results show that most class XI students still need to have a clear picture of the career choices they will take. Meanwhile, many class XII students need help in deciding about their college major or plans after graduating from high school. This research aims to produce media entitled Career Goals Road Map which helps students to have career decision-making skills based on principles of SMART goals setting. This research uses model research and development (R&D) developed by Borg and Gall (1984). This research was only carried out up to the fifth stage, the product revision resulting from initial field testings. The results of the validation test by two material experts obtained a 94% scorer, while the validation test by two media experts obtained a 91% scorer, which is include in very good category and does not need to be revised. The test results of expert practitioners (counselors) obtained a 98.75% scorer and prospective users (students) were 89.5% in the very good category, with no need for revision. It can be concluded that the media Career Goals Road Map has met the acceptability criteria which include aspects of usability, feasibility, accuracy and propriety.
