VALIDITY OF STM32 MICROCONTROLLER TRAINER AS A PRACTICUM MEDIA FOR MICROCONTROLLER ENGINEERING PRACTICES

Abstract
This research is based on the results of observations by researchers at Vocational High School 1 Grati, in which class X TAV requires an adequate learning media for microcontroller programming practicum. This makes the basis for the author to determine the purpose of this study, which is to produce a valid learning medium in the form of a STM32 microcontroller trainer and jobsheet.The author used the Research and Development method of development by adopting 6 stages, firstly identifying potentials and existing problems, secondly collecting data needed during research, thirdly designing the product to be made, fourthly validating the product to experts, and then fifthly revising or repairing the product if there are deficiencies and errors, the last analyzing and making reports complete about the results of the research. The eligibility requirements of these produced products is only based from the validation results. Based on the validation that has been done by the author to 3 validators, the validity level of the trainer gets results with very valid criteria, namely the percentage of an average rating of 92.5% with details; expert lecturer 1 gave a validation value of 85%, expert lecturer 2 gave a validation value of 92.5% and the vocational teacher gave a 100% validation value. While the level of validity of the jobsheet gets results with very valid criteria as well, namely the average percentage assessment of 91.6% with details; expert lecturer 1 gave a validation value of 72.9%, expert lecturer 2 gave a validation value of 85.4% and a vocational teacher gave a value of 95.8% validation.Thus, the STM32 microcontroller trainer and jobsheet are declared valid and can be continued for further research to be used as a practicum media for microcontroller engineering subjects
