Kecerdasan buatan
Anxiety terhadap Trust in AI, serta Willingness to Accept AI
(β =
0,438), Perceived AI Accuracy (β = 0,394), dan AI Anxiety (β = -0,474) secara
signifikan menjelaskan Trust in AI (R² = 0,584). Trust in AI berpengaruh positif kuat
terhadap Willingness to Accept AI (β = 0,749; R² = 0,561). Seluruh jalur
signifikan pada p = 0,001. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan berperan
penting dalam penerimaan AI generatif oleh mahasiswa.
Kata Kunci: Attitude Toward AI, Perceived AI Accuracy, AI

Generative
artificial intelligence is now widely used in higher education. However, using
it often does not always mean that students fully understand it or trust it.
This study looks at how Attitude Toward AI, Perceived AI Accuracy, and AI
Anxiety affect Trust in AI and Willingness to Accept AI when students use it
for academic assignments. This quantitative study involved 204 students from
public and private universities in Surabaya. Data were collected using a
20-item questionnaire with a seven-point Likert scale. The data were then
analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4. The results show that Attitude Toward
AI (β = 0.438), Perceived AI Accuracy (β = 0.394), and AI Anxiety (β = −0.474)
all have a significant effect on Trust in AI. The model explains 58.4% of the
changes in trust (R² = 0.584). In addition, Trust in AI has a strong positive
effect on Willingness to Accept AI (β = 0.749; R² = 0.561). All results are
significant at p = 0.001. These findings show that trust is very important in
how students accept generative AI. Students who have a positive attitude toward
AI and believe it is accurate tend to trust it more. On the other hand,
students who feel anxious about AI tend to trust it less.
