Sforzando merupakan lembaga non formal atau kursus musik yang menyelengarakan pendidikan inklusi. Banyak anak berkebutuhan khusus yang mengikuti kursus musik di lembaga yang beralamatkan di Jl Raya Taman Asri D 35 A Waru-Sidoarjo ini. Pada kenyataanya tidak semua kursus musik mampu menyelenggarakan pendidikan inklusi. Hal ini yang mendasari peneliti ingin mengkaji lebih lanjut mengenai proses pembelajaran musik khususnya piano serta apa saja faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambatnya. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian kali ini adalah pembelajaran piano menggunakan media 3KW (kertas, karet, dan koin warna). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa down syndrome yang mengikuti kursus piano pada grade system tingkat paling bawah (Schubert A) di Sforzando. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, serta mendokumentasikan proses pembelajaran secara langsung. Selanjutnya, analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Validitas data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kali ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran piano untuk anak down syndrome memiliki beberapa tahap: bernyanyi, menirukan, membaca, mendengarkan, dan mencoba. Secara lebih lanjut, dapat disimpulkan pula bahwa faktor pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran ini antara lain adalah orang tua siswa sangat antusias. Baiknya hubungan guru-wali murid, antar wali murid, antar siswa, dan staff juga merupakan factor pendukung keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi kondisi fisik siswa yang kelelahan dan tidak enak badan sehingga proses pembelajaran kurang maksimal.

Sforzando is a non-formal educational institution or music course that organizes inclusive education. Many children with special needs attend courses at Sforzando. Among those children who come to Sforzando take piano lessons. Sforzando located at Ruko Jl Raya Taman Asri D35 A Waru-Sidoarjo 61256. In fact, not all music course are capable of providing inclusive education. In line with this, this present research is important to be conducted to find out the process and possible obstacles in learning piano by children with special needs.This is what underlies the researchers want to study further about the process of learning music, especially piano and what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors. This research is included in a qualitative descriptive study. The object of this research is piano learning using 3KW media (Paper, Rubber, and Color Coins). The subjects were down syndrome students who took the piano padagrade system at the lowest level (Schubert A) in Sforzando. The data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and documenting the learning process directly. Furthermore, data analysis is performed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation of techniques and sources.
Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the piano learning process for children with Down syndrome has several stages: singing, imitating, reading, listening, and trying. Furthermore, it can be concluded also that the supporting factors in the learning process include the students' parents being very enthusiastic. The good teacher-student guardian relationship, between student guardians, between students, and staff is also a supporting factor for the success of the learning process. While the inhibiting factors include the physical condition of students who are tired and not feeling well so the learning process is not optimal.
