Design and Build of Student Academic Value Information System at SMPN 1 Mojoagung (Case Study: SMPN 1 Mojoagung)
At this time the development of information technology is increasing, making educational institutions have to improve their academic systems in the digital world, one of which is at SMPN 1 Mojoagung. SMPN 1 Mojoagung is one of the schools located in Mojoagung sub-district, Jombang city. For value data processing, it is still done manually or conventionally where the homeroom teacher is still waiting for the assessment data given from each lesson teacher to input data into the score template to be printed as student report cards, which results in less efficiency in processing assessment data. This study aims to provide a solution by building a website-based academic assessment application to facilitate teachers in processing data and student scores. The website-based academic assessment application system is built using the prototype method. In its application, the prototype method has several stages starting from the stage of gathering requirements, designing, making prototypes, evaluating prototypes, repairing prototypes, and product results. As for the technology, the author uses the CodeIgniter framework as the website media, and the programming language used PHP and MySQL in its application. The result of this research is an application website for student academic assessment which is expected to be able to assist academics in processing value data at SMPN 1 Mojoagung. Which helps make it easier for teachers to provide assessments so that in making report cards can be more effective and make it easier for students to see academic value information.
