Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen penilaian autentik pada kemampuan menulis teks cerpen, dengan ini diharapkan mampu membantu dalam penilaian di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan khusus penelitian adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan instrumen penilaian autentik pada materi teks cerita pendek, (2) mendeskripsikan kualitas pengembangan instrumen penilaian autentik pada materi teks cerita pendek.
Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan desain model 4D. Prosedur pengembangan meliputi tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Data penelitian berupa dokumen proses pengembangan, dan data kualitas instrumen penilaian autentik dari validator. Selanjutnya pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik validasi, observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes dengan instrumen yang berbentuk buku siswa. Penganalisisan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil rekapitulasi secara keseluruhan dan pada uji kevalidan diperoleh persentase sebesar 79,23 dan 81, 54 jika dirata-rata akan diperoleh hasil sebesar 80,39 yang dapat dinyatakan bahwa produk berkategori valid dan siap dipergunakan dengan perbaikan. Pada hasil kepraktisan diperoleh hasil 83,6% dan 82,7% jika dirata-ratakan maka akan diperoleh hasil 83,15. Dari hasil tersebut dinyatakan bahwa produk ini dapat dikatakan berkategori terlaksana dengan baik dan praktis. Selanjutnya nilai yang diperoleh dari hasil pelaksanaan pengajaran diperoleh hasil sebesar 81,8% yang dapat dikategorikan efektif.

The general objective of this study is to develop an authentic assessment instrument on the ability to write short story texts, with this expected to be able to assist in the assessment of learning activities. The specific objectives of the study are: (1) to describe the process of developing authentic assessment instruments in short story text material, (2) to describe the quality of the development of authentic assessment instruments in short story text material.
This research includes the type of development research with the design of the 4D model. The development procedure includes the stages of defining, designing, and developing. The research data is in the form of a development process document, and authentic quality instrument assessment data from the validator. Furthermore, data collection was carried out through validation, observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests with instruments in the form of student books. Analyzing is done using qualitative and quantitative description techniques.
The results showed that the results of the recapitulation as a whole and on the validity test obtained percentages of 79.23 and 81, 54 if averaged would get a result of 80.39 which could be stated that the product was categorized as valid and ready to be used with improvement. On the results of practicality the results obtained 83.6% and 82.7% if averaged, the results will be 83.15. From these results it was stated that this product could be categorized as implemented well and practically. Furthermore, the value obtained from the results of the implementation of teaching results obtained at 80,95% which can be categorized as effective.
