REPRESENTASI PERSAHABATAN ANAK DALAM SERIAL NOVEL ANAK KARYA MUTIARA SYA’BANI
REPRESENTATION OF CHILDREN'S FRIENDSHIP IN THE CHILDREN'S NOVEL SERIAL BY MUTIARA SYA'BANI
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi persahabatan anak dalam serial novel anak karya Mutiara Sya'bani, dengan fokus pada unsur-unsur, jenis, dan tahapan hubungan persahabatan. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi lima unsur penting dalam persahabatan, yaitu manfaat, afirmasi, dukungan ego, pendorong, dan keamanan. Selain itu, ditemukan tiga tahapan perkembangan persahabatan, yakni persahabatan sederhana, persahabatan biasa, dan persahabatan dekat dan intim. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan hubungan persahabatan anak-anak sering mengalami dinamika, tetapi mereka tetap mencerminkan hubungan yang penuh dukungan, kasih sayang, dan saling menghargai. Setiap tahap perkembangan persahabatan menunjukkan bagaimana anak-anak belajar untuk memahami satu sama lain, menghargai perbedaan, serta memberikan dukungan yang saling menguntungkan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hubungan persahabatan dalam novel ini bersifat timbal balik, semua karakter saling mendukung dan menghargai perbedaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan ilmu sastra dan pemahaman tentang peran persahabatan dalam perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat membuka wawasan bagi penelitian lebih lanjut dalam eksplorasi representasi persahabatan di berbagai media dan budaya, serta memperkaya literasi anak dengan tema-tema yang mendukung tumbuh kembang mereka.

This research aims to analyze the representation of children's friendships in the children's novel series by Mutiara Sya'bani, with a focus on the elements, types and stages of friendship relationships. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research identified five important elements in friendship, namely benefits, affirmation, ego support, encouragement, and security. Apart from that, three stages of friendship development were found, namely simple friendship, casual friendship, and close and intimate friendship. This research reveals that children's friendships often experience dynamics, but they still reflect relationships full of support, affection and mutual respect. Each stage of friendship development shows how children learn to understand each other, appreciate differences, and provide mutually beneficial support. The results of the analysis show that the friendship relationships in this novel are reciprocal, all characters support each other and respect each other's differences. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of literary knowledge and understanding of the role of friendship in children's social and emotional development. Apart from that, it is also hoped that this research can open up insights for further research in exploring representations of friendship in various media and cultures, as well as enriching children's literacy with themes that support their growth and development.
