ANALISIS TEKNIK PERMAINAN GITAR KLASIK PADA LAGU “MAXIXE” KARYA AGUSTIN BARRIOS MANGORE

ANALYSIS OF CLASSIC GUITAR PLAY TECHNIQUES ON "MAXIXE"  SONG WORKS OF AGUSTIN BARRIOS MANGORE

Maxixe memiliki irama tarian yang bertempo cepat, enak di dengar serta bernuansa senang, semangat dan ceria. Guna memainkan lagu ini terdapat teknik yang harus dikuasai oleh seorang pemain gitar klasik. Teknik tersebut diantaranya yaitu Arpeggio, Slur, Legato. Dominasi lagu ini terletak pada Speed dan Power. Komposisi ini juga digunakan pada lagu wajib semester 4 guna untuk memenuhi syarat Ujian Akhir Semester mata kuliah mayor gitar klasik di jurusan Sendratasik progam studi seni music di Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Selain itu karya ini juga pernah dibawakan oleh banyak gitaris klasik lainnya yang dapat dilihat di Youtube maupun pertunjukkan recital gitar klasik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui teknik permainan yang digunakan pada lagu Maxixe. (2) Untuk mengetahui bentuk lagu Maxixe. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di kota Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, dengan objek penelitian lagu Maxixe. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi partisipatif. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data yang digunakan antara lain reduksi data, penyajian data teks yang naratif, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat diketahui bahwa lagu Maxixe memliki tiga bagian yaitu A-A’-B-C dengan 3 Tema, yaitu Tema I, Tema II, dan Tema III. Kemudian teknik yang digunakan pada lagu Maxixe yaitu Arpeggio, Slur/Legato, Slide/Glissando, Ceja/Barre, dan Tirando. Pada lagu Maxixe, terdapat teknik lain yang sulit, seperti: (1) speed/kecepatan, merupakan bagian yang penting, terutama pada bagian A’ dan C dalam karya tersebut dimainkan dengan tempo allegro dan banyaknya ketukan dengan nilai 1/16 muncul diawal lagu hingga akhir lagu. (2) power/kekuatan, untuk dapat memainkannya seseorang harus memperhatikan ketepatan pada penjarian tersebut, karena beberapa bagian terdapat posisi akord yang tidak biasa yang merupakan ciri khas dari Agustin Barrios Mangore, maka perlu dilatih dengan power yang kuat agar terdengar lebih bersih dan jelas. (3) tone colour/warna suara, juga perlu diperhatikan agar pembagian iringan dan melodi utama lebih menonjol.

Maxixe has a fast-paced dance tune, is pleasant to hear and has a happy, uplifting and cheerful atmosphere. To play this song there are techniques that must be mastered by a classical guitar player. These techniques include Arpeggio, Slur, Legato. The dominance of this song lies in Speed ​​and Power. This composition is also used in the compulsory song semester 4 in order to meet the requirements of the Final Examination Semester major courses in classical guitar in the Department of Music study program at the State University of Surabaya. Besides this work has also been performed by many other classical guitarists who can be seen on Youtube or classical guitar recital performances. The purpose of this study is (1) To find out the game techniques used in the Maxixe song. (2) To find out Maxixe's song form. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Research location in the city of Sidoarjo, East Java, with the research object song Maxixe. Data collection techniques used were participatory observation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques used include data reduction, narrative text data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification.

Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the song Maxixe has three parts, namely A-A’-B-C with 3 themes, namely Theme I, Theme II, and Theme III. Then the techniques used in Maxixe's songs are Arpeggio, Slur / Legato, Slide / Glissando, Ceja / Barre, and Tirando. In the Maxixe song, there are other difficult techniques, such as: (1) speed, an important part, especially in parts A 'and C in the work played with allegro tempo and the number of beats with a value of 1/16 appearing at the beginning of the song until end of song. (2) power / strength, to be able to play it one must pay attention to the accuracy of the fingering, because some parts have unusual chord positions which are characteristic of Agustin Barrios Mangore, so it needs to be trained with strong power so that it sounds cleaner and clearer. (3) tone color / sound color, also need to be considered so that the division of the main accompaniment and melody is more prominent.
