Pengembangan Modul Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik Pada Materi Indeks Harga dan Inflasi Kelas XI IPS
Module Development Based on Scientific Approaches on Price Index and Inflation Class XI IPS
Keterbatasan bahan ajar yang berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar dan belum tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran, membuat peneliti ingin mengembangkan modul berbasis pendekatan saintifik. Modul ini diharapkan dapat membantu memecahkan masalah melalui pendekatan saintifik. Sehingga, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan, hasil belajar, dan respon peserta didik terhadap pengembangan modul berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi indeks harga dan inflasi. Penelitian ini berjenis R&D dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) oleh Thiagarajan. Hasil validasi untuk penilaian kelayakan modul yang meliputi komponen materi, bahasa, kegrafikan, dan evaluasi mendapat rata-rata nilai sebesar 79,5%, artinya modul dinyatakan layak dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan ajar. Hasil belajar peserta didik diperoleh presentase ketuntasan sebesar 75%, artinya peserta didik tuntas dalam belajar setelah penggunaan modul. Sedangkan, hasil respon peserta didik sebesar 82,08% artinya modul dikategorikan sangat layak digunakan sebagai panduan belajar.

The limitations of teaching materials which have an impact on the low learning outcomes and not achieving the learning objectives, make researchers want to develop modules based on a scientific approach. This module is expected to help solve problems through a scientific approach. So, it can improve learning outcomes and achieving learning objectives.This study aims to describe the feasibility, learning outcomes, and students' responses to the development of modules based on a scientific approach to the material price index and inflation. This research is R&D type with 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) by Thiagarajan. The results of the validation for the appraisal of the module which includes the components of material, language, graphics, and evaluation received an average value of 79.5%, meaning that the module was declared eligible to be used as teaching material. Student learning outcomes obtained mastery percentage by 75%, meaning that students complete in learning after the use of modules. Meanwhile, the students' response was 82.08%, meaning that the module was categorized as very appropriate to be used as a study guide.
