PERAN SOCIAL SUPPORT DALAM WORK FAMILY CONFLICT TERHADAP STRES KERJA: SEBUAH STUDI LITERATUR
THE ROLE OF SOCIAL SUPPORT ON WORK FAMILY CONFLICT TOWARDS JOB STRESS: A LITERATURE STUDY
Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri peran social support dalam work-family conflict terhadap stres kerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan mesin pencarian (search engine). Ditemukan 17 studi empiris dari jurnal nasional dan internasional yang akan digunakan sebagai sumber data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa work-family conflict memiliki hubungan positif terhadap stres kerja. Social support ganda (berasal dari lingkungan kerja maupun diluar lingkungan kerja) dapat menjadi sumber daya positif yang dapat mengurangi efek buruk dari stres kerja dan work-family conflict secara efektif. Berdasarkan hasil studi empiris, juga ditemukan bahwa social support dapat dipandang sebagai moderator dalam hubungan stres kerja dan work-family conflict.
The purpose of this literature study is to investigate the role of social support correlation between work-family conflict on job stress. The literature study was based on 17 empirical studies from any national and international journals. Data collected by using search engine methods. The results suggest that work-family conflict had a positive relationship with job stress. Enacting dual social support (work and nonwork-related social support) can be a positive resource for reducing the adverse effects of job stress and work-family conflict effectively. Based on empirical studies, also found social support can be the best viewed as a moderator to a perceived stressor and work-family conflict.
