GRID SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF MENGATASI KESULITAN MENGGAMBAR STILL LIFE DI SMP NEGERI 1 MANTUP

GRID AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO OVERCOME THE DIFFICULTY OF DRAWING STILL LIFE AT SMP NEGERI 1 MANTUP

Pembelajaran Still Life merupakan salah satu bagian dari kompetensi dasar 4.1 kelas  VII  semester 1 yaitu menggambar flora, fauna dan alam benda. Namun rata-rata nilai ulangan harian peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Mantup rendah dalam materi menggambar Still Life. Penelitian ini bertujuanmengidentifikasi kesulitan, pengaplikasian teknik Grid, dan analisis hasil gambar. Sehingga rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Bagaimana kesulitan menggambar Still Life, 2) Bagaimana pengaplikasian teknik Grid dalam menggambar Still Life, serta 3) Bagaimana hasil penerapan teknik Grid pada gambar Still Life. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi.  Analisis data mempunyai 3 langkah yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh hasil karya gambar kelas VII  SMP Negeri 1 Mantup berjumlah 244 karya. Dan sampelnya kelas VII B dengan jumlah 31 karya dengan teknik Grid.Kesulitan yang dialami Peserta didik dalam menggambar Still Life terdapat  pada  garis dan gelap terang, guna mengatasi kesulitan tersebut diterapkan teknik Grid, yaitu membuat format kolom diatas gambar. Gambar dari penerapan teknik tersebut menghasilkan peningkatan nilai dalam menggambar Still Life.

Still Life learning is one part of the basic competencies of class VII semester 1 4.1, namely drawing flora, fauna and natural objects. However, the average daily test scores of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Mantup were low in the still life drawing material. This study aims to identify difficulties, apply Grid techniques, and analyze image results. So that the formulation of the problem from this research is 1) How difficult is it to draw Still Life, 2) how is the application of the Grid technique in drawing Still Life, and 3) How is the result of applying the Grid technique to a Still Live image. The method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection using observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis has 3 steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The population in this study, namely all the works of class VII images of SMP Negeri 1 Mantup, amounted to 244 works. And the sample is class VII B with a total of 31 works using the Grid technique. The difficulties experienced by students in drawing Still Life are found in lines and dark light, in order to overcome these difficulties the Grid technique is applied, namely making a column format above the image. Drawings from the application of these techniques result in increased value in drawing Still Life.
