Relationship Between Job Insecurity And Job Satisfaction Among Sales Marketing of X Pharmaceutical Brand in Surabaya
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara job insecurity dengan job satisfaction pada sales marketing merk obat-obatan X di Surabaya. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dengan keseluruhan 81 sales marketing. Sebanyak 30 sales marketing sebagai try out dan 51 sales marketing sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik correlation product moment dengan bantuan SPSS 25.0 for windows guna mengetahui hubungan antara kedua variabel. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini mengadaptasi skala MQJIS oleh Brondino dkk (2020) dan JSS oleh Spector (1997). Hasil dari analisis data diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 dari p<0.05 yang menandakan adanya hubungan signifikan antara variabel job insecurity dengan job satisfaction pada sales marketing merk obat-obatan X di Surabaya. Hasil pada uji koefisien korelasi sebesar r=-0.547 yang menunjukkan kategori korelasi yang sedang dan mengarah pada hubungan yang negatif atau saling bertolak belakang antara kedua variabel. Apabila variabel job insecurity tinggi maka job satisfaction rendah. Berdasarkan hasil olah data, maka hipotesis “terdapat hubungan antara variabel job insecurity dengan job satisfaction pada sales marketing merk obat-obatan X di Surabaya” dapat diterima.
This research was conducted to examine the relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction among sales marketing professionals of X pharmaceutical brand in Surabaya. A quantitative method was employed in this research. The sampling technique used in the study was saturated sampling, involving a total of 81 sales marketing professionals. Out of these, 30 individuals were selected for the try-out phase, while 51 individuals served as the main subjects of the study. The research utilized the correlation product moment technique with the assistance of SPSS 25.0 for Windows to determine the relationship between the two variables. The research instruments adapted the MQJIS scale by Brondino et al. (2020) and the JSS scale by Spector (1997). The analysis of the data yielded a significance value of 0.000 with p<0.05, indicating a significant relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction among sales marketing professionals of X pharmaceutical brand in Surabaya. The results of the correlation coefficient test showed an r value of -0.547, indicating a moderate level of correlation and a negative or inverse relationship between the two variables. Specifically, higher levels of job insecurity corresponded to lower levels of job satisfaction. Based on the data analysis results, the hypothesis stating "there is a relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction among sales marketing professionals of X pharmaceutical brand in Surabaya" can be accepted.
