PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DIRECT INSTRUCTION MELALUI PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN BUKET SNACK DI PONDOK PESANTREN BAITUL HIKMAH
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DIRECT INSTRUCTION LEARNING MODEL THROUGH SNACK BOUQUET MAKING TRAINING AT BAITUL HIKMAH ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction dalam pelatihan pembuatan buket snack di Pondok Pesantren Baitul Hikmah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, unjuk kerja, dan angket. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 santriwati yang mengikuti pelatihan. Model Direct Instruction diterapkan melalui tahapan pembelajaran yang sistematis, meliputi pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas instruktur dalam setiap tahapan pelatihan memperoleh kategori “sangat baik”. Selain itu, aktivitas peserta juga menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif dan respons positif selama pelatihan berlangsung. Pelatihan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kreativitas santriwati dalam membuat buket snack secara mandiri dan inovatif. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode Direct Instruction efektif dalam pelatihan keterampilan praktis seperti pembuatan buket snack.

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Direct Instruction model in snack bouquet training at Pondok Pesantren Baitul Hikmah. The research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with data collected through observation, practice, and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were 15 female students who participated in the training. The Direct Instruction model was applied through systematic stages, including the introduction, core activities, and closing. The results show that the instructor's activities at each stage of the training received a "very good" category. In addition, the participants showed active involvement and positive responses during the training. This training proved effective in enhancing the participants’ creativity in independently and innovatively creating snack bouquets. Therefore, the Direct Instruction method is effective for practical skill-based training such as snack bouquet making.
