PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA ETNOSAINS BERBASIS FLIPBOOK
UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN
HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS
SISWA KELAS VI SEKOLAH DASAR
FLIPBOOK-BASED ETHNOSCIENCE MEDIA DEVELOPMENT TO IMPROVE CRITICAL THINKING ABILITIES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN SCIENCES FOR 6TH GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Flipbook berbasis etnosains dengan konteks budaya lokal tari Remo sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE dengan tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 26 siswa kelas VI sebagai kelas eksperimen, 26 siswa kelas VI sebagai kelas kontrol, serta dua guru dan tiga validator ahli (materi, bahasa, dan media). Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respon siswa dan guru, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil validasi menunjukkan rata-rata skor 89,17% dengan kategori sangat valid, sehingga media layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Uji kepraktisan melalui respon siswa dan guru memperoleh skor rata-rata 87,60% dengan kategori sangat praktis, yang berarti media mudah digunakan, menarik, serta membantu guru menyampaikan materi kompleks secara sederhana dan kontekstual. Uji keefektifan ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata skor pretest 21,38 dan posttest 77,31, menghasilkan N-gain 0,73 (kategori tinggi). Distribusi N-gain menunjukkan 15 siswa (57,7%) kategori tinggi, 11 siswa (42,3%) kategori sedang, dan tidak ada siswa kategori rendah. Sebaliknya, kelas kontrol hanya memperoleh rata-rata N-gain 0,46 (kategori sedang) berada pada kategori rendah. Kesimpulannya, media Flipbook berbasis etnosains terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar serta keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS. Media ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif inovatif untuk mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam pendidikan dasar.

This research aims to develop ethnoscience-based flipbook media within the local cultural context of the Remo dance as an alternative medium for learning science in elementary schools. The development model used is the ADDIE model, with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 26 sixth-grade students as the experimental class, 26 sixth-grade students as the control class, as well as two teachers and three expert validators (materials, language, and media). The research instruments included expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The validation results showed an average score of 89.17% with a very valid category, so the media is suitable for use in learning. The practicality test through student and teacher responses obtained an average score of 87.60% with a very practical category, which means the media is easy to use, interesting, and helps teachers convey complex material simply and contextually. The effectiveness test was shown through an increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class with an average pretest score of 21.38 and a posttest score of 77.31, resulting in an N-gain of 0.73 (high category). The N-gain distribution showed 15 students (57.7%) in the high category, 11 students (42.3%) in the medium category, and no students in the low category. In contrast, the control class only obtained an average N-gain of 0.46 (medium category) in the low category. In conclusion, the ethnoscience-based Flipbook media is proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills in science learning. This media is recommended as an innovative alternative for integrating local culture into elementary education.
