DUNIA FANTASI SEBAGAI TEMA LUKISAN MIXED MEDIA DENGAN MATERIAL SAMPAH ANORGANIK OLEH PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI-1 SMA NEGERI 13 SURABAYA

FANTASY WORLD AS THE THEME OF MIXED MEDIA PAINTINGS USING INORGANIC WASTE MATERIALS BY ELEVENTH-GRADE STUDENTS OF CLASS XI-1 AT SMA NEGERI 13 SURABAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persiapan, proses pelaksanaan, hasil karya, serta tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap pembelajaran dunia fantasi sebagai tema lukisan mixed media dengan material sampah anorganik oleh peserta didik kelas XI-1 sma negeri 13 surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Data dianalisis secara interaktif meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan validitas data diperiksa melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui 39 peserta didik kelas XI-1 SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2026, dalam empat pertemuan selama satu bulan menggunakan kanvas 30x40 cm, cat akrilik, dan material sampah anorganik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 39 peserta didik, 8 peserta didik (20,51%) memperoleh kategori Sangat Baik, 10 peserta didik (25,64%) Baik, 5 peserta didik (12,82%) Cukup, dan 16 peserta didik (41,03%) Kurang. Hasil angket menunjukkan 97,2% peserta didik tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran, dan seluruh peserta didik (100%) menyatakan kepeduliannya terhadap lingkungan meningkat.

This study aimed to describe the preparation, implementation process, students' artworks, and the responses of both the teacher and students toward the learning activity entitled Fantasy World as the Theme of Mixed Media Painting Using Inorganic Waste Materials conducted with Class XI-1 students at SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. Data were collected through interviews,         observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed interactively through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and triangulation of data collection techniques. The study involved 39 students of Class XI-1 at SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya during the 2026 academic year. The learning activities were conducted in four meetings over one month using 30 × 40 cm canvases, acrylic paints, and inorganic waste materials as artistic media. The findings revealed that, out of 39 students, 8 students (20.51%) achieved the Excellent category, 10 students (25.64%) achieved the Good category, 5 students (12.82%) achieved the Fair category, and 16 students (41.03%) achieved the Poor category. The questionnaire results indicated that 97.2% of the students were interested in participating in the learning activities, while all students (100%) stated that the learning experience had increased their awareness of environmental conservation.
