Upaya Membangun Karakter Disiplin Siswa Melalui Full Day School (Studi Multi Situs di TK Darul Musafirin Thailand dan TK Lasiyam Surabaya)
Efforts To Build Student Discipline Character Through Full Day School (Multi Site Study at Darul Musafirin Thailand Kindergarten and Lasiyam Surabaya Kindergarten)
Pendidikan menjadi wadah untuk mengembangkan intelektual dan nilai-nilai karakter dalam proses penyelenggaraannya. Nilai karakter disiplin menjadi salah satu nilai karakter yang sangat penting untuk dimiliki siswa. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk membangun karakter disiplin siswa yakni salah satunya melalui full day school yang dilakukan dengan cara pembiasaan, keteladanan, serta mengintegrasikan nilai karakter disiplin pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai upaya membangun karakter disiplin siswa melalui full day school dengan cara pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan integrasi pada kegiatan pembelajaran di TK Darul Musafirin Thailand dan TK Lasiyam Surabaya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian studi multi situs yakni melibatkan dua situs sebagai lokasi penelitian agar memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih utuh dan dapat mengidentifikasi data dari tiap situs. Dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana yang diabsahkan menggunakan metode triangulasi teknik, triangulasi sumber, serta membercheck.
Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa upaya membangun karakter disiplin siswa melalui full day school di TK Darul Musafirin Thailand dan TK Lasiyam Surabaya dilakukan dengan cara pembiasaan untuk menerapkan aktivitas-aktivitas full day school, keteladanan dari guru dan kepala sekolah, serta mengintegrasikan nilai karakter disiplin pada kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan cara memasukkan nilai karakter disiplin dalam RPP dan modul ajar. Ketiga upaya tersebut mampu menunjukkan perubahan baik terhadap siswa seperti berangkat sekolah tepat waktu, memakai seragam dengan rapi dan sesuai aturan, melaksanakan aktivitas full day school dengan tertib, berperilaku baik dengan teman, menggunakan bahasa yang sopan, menaati aturan sekolah, serta menjaga kebersihan baik dengan membuang sampah pada tempatnya maupun membereskan mainan dan barang yang selesai digunakan.

Education is a place to develop intellectual and character values in the implementation process. The character value of discipline is one of the most important character values for students to have. Various efforts have been made to build the character of student discipline, one of which is through the full day school which is done by habituation, exemplary, and integrating the character values of discipline in learning activities. The purpose of this research is to describe the efforts to build students' disciplinary character through the full day school by habituation, exemplary, and integration in learning activities in Darul Musafirin Thailand Kindergarten and Lasiyam Surabaya Kindergarten.
This study uses a qualitative method with a multi-site study research design, which involves two sites as research locations in order to gain a more complete understanding and be able to identify data from each site. By using interviews, observation, and documentation studies as data collection techniques. The data analysis used is the analysis of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana which was validated using the technique and source triangulation method and membercheck.
The results of the study found that efforts to build students' disciplinary character through the full day school in Darul Musafirin Kindergarten Thailand and Surabaya Lasiyam Kindergarten it is carried out by habituation to implement full day school activities, the exemplary of teachers and principals, as well as integrating the character values of discipline in learning activities carried out by how to enter disciplinary character values in lesson plan and teaching modules. These three efforts are able to show good changes for students such as going to school on time, wearing uniforms neatly and according to the rules, carrying out full day school activities in an orderly manner, behave well with friends, use polite language, obey school rules, and maintain cleanliness both by disposing of trash in its place and cleaning up toys and items that have been used.
