Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh bermain Mobile Legends terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di SMA Al-Islam Krian. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex-post facto, melibatkan 194 siswa, di mana 120 di antaranya aktif bermain Mobile Legends. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, yang dibagikan pada jam sekolah. Analisis statistik, termasuk uji normalitas dan linearitas, menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara bermain Mobile Legends dan motivasi belajar, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,867 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin sering siswa bermain Mobile Legends, semakin rendah motivasi belajarnya dalam pembelajaran PJOK. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya menyeimbangkan aktivitas bermain game dengan tanggung jawab akademik serta mendorong siswa dan pendidik untuk mengembangkan kegiatan positif guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar.
This research investigates the influence of playing Mobile Legends on students' learning motivation in Physical Education (PJOK) at SMA Al-Islam Krian. The study employs a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto design, involving 194 students, of whom 120 actively play Mobile Legends. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires distributed during school hours. Statistical analysis, including normality and linearity tests, revealed a significant negative correlation between playing Mobile Legends and learning motivation, with a correlation coefficient of -0.867 and a significance value of 0.000. The findings indicate that increased time spent playing Mobile Legends is associated with decreased motivation to learn in PJOK. The study highlights the importance of balancing gaming activities with academic responsibilities and suggests that both students and educators should foster positive activities to enhance learning motivation.
