Zig-Zag Run and Shuttle Run Training to improve the agility of Madiun steppe basketball athletes
Bola basket adalah olahraga dua tim yang bertujuan menembak bola ke dalam keranjang musuh untuk mendapatkan poin. Bola basket mempunyai macam-macam teknik dasar, diantaranya passing, dribbling, shooting. Dribbling dalam bola basket merupakan kemampuan dasar dan memerlukan latihan kelincahan untuk memulai, memperlambat, mengubah arah, dan mempercepat gerakan tubuh secara eksplosif. Minimnya pemberian latihan kelincahan pada atlet bola basket remaja di Madiun menjadi pendorong studi ini dengan tujuan guna mencari tahu apakah latihan zig-zag run, shuttle run berpengaruh bagi kelincahan atlet dan perbedaan efektivitas pengaruh latihan zig-zag run dan shuttle run dalam meningkatkan kelincahan atlet stepa basketball Madiun.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental (pre-experimental design) dengan metode kuantitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam metode kuantitatif ini dilakukan dua kali, yaitu sebelum dan setelah perlakuan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah atlet stepabasketball Madiun sebanyak 30 atlet. Metode purposive sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memperoleh sampel sebanyak 12 atlet. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 8 minggu dengan rincian 6 minggu 18 kali perlakuan (setiap minggu ada 3 kali latihan) dan 2 kali tes (pada minggu ke-1 dan minggu ke-8). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat efek latihan zig-zag run terhadap peningkatan kelincahan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05. Selain itu, terdapat efek latihan shuttle run dalam meningkatkan kelincahan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05. Berdasarkan uji t, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode latihan shuttle run lebih efektif daripada teknik zig-zag run, dengan peningkatan 2,33 poin per 30 detik, lebih tinggi daripada 2,16 poin per 30 detik pada latihan zig-zag run.

Basketball is a two-team sport aimed at shooting the ball into the enemy's basket to earn points. Basketball has a variety of basic techniques, including passing, dribbling, shooting. Dribbling in basketball is a basic skill and requires agility training to initiate, slow down, change direction, and accelerate explosive body movements. The lack of agility training in youth basketball athletes in Madiun became the impetus for this study with the aim of finding out whether the exercise zigzag run, shuttle run affect the agility of athletes and the difference in the effect of exercise zig-zag run and shuttle run in improving the agility of athletes steppe basketball Madiun.This study includes pre-experimental research (pre-experimental design) using quantitative methods. The data collected in this quantitative method is carried out twice the test is carried out before and after treatment. The population of this study was steppe basketball Madiun athletes totaling 30 athletes. Purposive sampling method used in this study to obtain a sample of 12 athletes. This study was conducted for 8 weeks with details of 6 Weeks 18 times the treatment (every 1 Week there are 3x exercises) and 2 times the Test (at Week 1 and Week 8). Based on the results of the study, the effect of zig-zag run exercise on increasing agility with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. In addition, there was an effect of shuttle run training on increasing agility with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the T test, it can be concluded that the shuttle run exercise method is more effective than the zig-zag run technique, with an increase of 2.33 points per 30 seconds, more than 2.16 points per 30 seconds in the zig-zag run exercise
