Pengembangan Media Flashcard Untuk Keterampilan Membaca Kata Peserta Didik Kelas I Sekolah Dasar
Development of Flashcard Media for the Word Reading Skills of Grade I Elementary Scholl Students
Penelitian pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan penggunaan media dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan penyampaian materi oleh pendidik sulit dipahami peserta didik terutama pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kegiatan membaca kata. Hal tersebut menjadi alasan perlunya dilaksanakan penelitian pengembangan media flashcard untuk keterampilan membaca kata peserta didik kelas I sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media flashcard untuk keterampilan membaca kata peserta didik kelas I sekolah dasar yang valid, efektif, dan praktis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Reserch and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, yang meliputi lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas I sekolah dasar yang berjumlah 20. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar validasi, lembar efektivitas pembelajaran, lembar pretest dan posttest, dan lembar angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari segi kevalidan berdasarkan validasi media menunjukkan persentase 82% dan validasi materi menunjukkan 87,5%. Hasil keefektifan berdasarkan efektivitas pembelajaran menunjukkan persentase 85%, sedangkan hasil tes peserta didik memeroleh thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (thitung 16,1 > ttabel 2,101). Perolehan hasil kepraktisan berdasarkan angket pendidik dan peserta didik, masing-masing menunjukkan persentase 100% dan 88%. Dari segi kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan dapat diketahui bahwa media flashcard untuk keterampilan membaca kata peserta didik kelas I sekolah dasar sangat valid, sangat efektif, dan sangat praktis.

This development research is motivated by the limited use of media in learning activities and the delivery of material by educators is difficult for students to understand, especially in learning Indonesian, word reading activities. This is the reason for the need to carry out research on the development of flashcard media for the word reading skills of first grade elementary school students. This study aims to produce flashcard media for the reading skills of grade I elementary school students that are valid, effective, and practical. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) development research using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects used in this study were 20 grade I elementary school students. The data collection process used instruments in the form of validation sheets, learning effectiveness sheets, pretest and posttest sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The data analysis technique used is validity, effectiveness, and practicality data analysis. The results obtained in terms of validity based on media validation show a percentage of 82% and material validation shows 87.5%. The effectiveness results based on learning effectiveness show a percentage of 85%, while the test results of students obtain tcount greater than ttable (tcount 16.1 > ttable 2.101). Obtaining practicality results based on a questionnaire of educators and students, respectively showing the percentage of 100% and 88%. In terms of validity, effectiveness, and practicality, it can be seen that flashcard media for the word reading skills of grade I elementary school students is very valid, very effective, and very practical.
