THE EFFECTIVIYENESS OF VIDEO TUTORIAL MEDIA IN PRODUCTIVE SUBJECTS AT FASHION DESIGN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Video tutorial media is a media which is systematically designed consisting of images and sounds that form a sequential storyline, containing learning material packaged in video files. The purpose of this literature study is to review the effectiveness of the implementing a media video in productive fashion subjects, that consist of learning making a fashion ornaments, fashion design lessons, making customade clothes, creative entrepreneurial products, and making industrial clothes. This scientific article was prepared using the literature study method by reviewing papers from 20 published journals. Based on the results of the literature review, it can be summarized that media video tutorials has a positive impact on students, it is proven to be able to increase learning outcomes to more than 80% in productive fashion learnings, obtaining an average result of 87.2%, especially the competency skills in making fashion ornaments and industrial clothing learnings with a level of completeness the highest is 100% and the lowest is on creative product competence and entrepreneurship learning. The application of video media develops creativity and optimizes students' interest and motivation in learning. The teaching and learning process went really well, effectively, and efficiently with implementing a right learning media so that goal of learning can be achieved.
