PERANCANGAN BATIK MOTIF CHANGDEOKGUNG PALACE KOREA SELATAN YANG DITERAPKAN PADA HANBOK MODERN
DESIGNING BATIK PATTERNS INSPIRED BY CHANGDEOKGUNG PALACE OF SOUTH KOREA APPLIED TO MODERN HANBOK
Changdeokgung Palace merupakan salah satu istana yang ada di Korea Selatan dengan arsitektur instana ini dipengaruhi oleh budaya luar karena adanya kegiatan politik yang dilakukan di Injeongjeon Hall . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil perancangan batik motif Changdeokgung Palace dan untuk mengetahui hasil jadi busana hanbok dengan menerapkan batik motif Changdeokgung Palace. Penelitian berupa penciptaan karya (practice-led research) dengan metode FEA Consumer Need Model yang terdiri dari 6 tahap, Problem Identification, pengenalan Changdeokgung Palace dan hanbok modern sebagai bahan yang akan diteliti. Preliminary Ideas, ide awal berupa moodboard. Design Refinement, pengembangan desain motif batik bertema Changdeokgung Palace serta desain hanbok modern. Prototype, membuat prototipe untuk menguji kelayakan. Evaluation, tahap setelah mendapat masukan dari hasil prototipe. Implementation, pembuatan batik serta hanbok. Instumen penelitian menggunakan lembar kuisioner berupa google form yang dibagikan kepada responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan menggunakan mean atau rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari hasil perancangan 9 motif batik Changdeokgung Palace diperoleh 3 nilai tertinggi yaitu pada Taman Changdeokgung 1, Dancheong Changdeokgung 1, dan Changdeokgung Pagi Sore 1, selanjutnya 3 motif tersebut diwujudkan menjadi batik dan hanbok modern yang dinilai berdasarkan aspek kreatifitas dan orisinalitas, aspek komposisi motif dan warna, aspek estetika, dan aspek fungsional. Hasil jadi busana hanbok dengan menerapkan batik motif Changdeokgung Palace dari total aspek keseluruhan diperoleh nilai paling tinggi yaitu desain 2 dengan total mean dari keseluruhan aspek adalah 4,6 (sangat baik). Walaupun tidak mendapat nilai setinggi desain 2 namun desain 1 dan 3 mendapat nilai 4,4 dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.

Changdeokgung Palace is one of the palaces in South Korea with this instant architecture influenced by foreign culture because of the political activities carried out in Injeongjeon Hall. This study aims to determine the results of the Changdeokgung Palace batik motif design and to determine the finished results of hanbok clothing by applying the Changdeokgung Palace batik motif. The research is in the form of creation of works (practice-led research) with the FEA Consumer Need Model method consisting of 6 stages, Problem Identification, introduction of Changdeokgung Palace and modern hanbok as materials to be studied. Preliminary Ideas, initial ideas in the form of moodboards. Design Refinement, development of batik motif designs with the Changdeokgung Palace theme and modern hanbok designs. Prototype, making a prototype to test feasibility. Evaluation, the stage after receiving input from the prototype results. Implementation, making batik and hanbok. The research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet in the form of a google form which is distributed to respondents. The data analysis technique uses the mean or average. The results of the study showed that from the design of 9 Changdeokgung Palace batik motifs, 3 highest values were obtained, namely Changdeokgung Park 1, Dancheong Changdeokgung 1, and Changdeokgung Pagi Sore 1, then the 3 motifs were realized into modern batik and hanbok which were assessed based on aspects of creativity and originality, aspects of motif and color composition, aesthetic aspects, and functional aspects. The finished hanbok clothing by applying Changdeokgung Palace batik motifs from the total overall aspects obtained the highest value, namely design 2 with a total mean of all aspects of 4.6 (very good). Although it did not get a score as high as design 2, designs 1 and 3 got a score of 4.4 and were included in the very good category.
