RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANDRAGOGY APPROACH AND ADULT LEARNING INTEREST AT MAIYAH BANGBANG WETAN ASSEMBLY SURABAYA
Masyarakat perkotaan cenderung disibukkan oleh pekerjaan dari pagi sampai petang di setiap hari. Dengan kondisi dan keadaan seperti itu, mereka membutuhkan suatu forum untuk sekedar bersosialisasi, bertukar pikiran, menguatkan iman, menambah pengetahuan dan menumbuhkan kebahagiaan di dalam dirinya. Adanya Majelis Maiyah Bangbang Wetan cukup menarik banyak jamaah untuk mengikuti pengajian di setiap bulan karena majelis ini cukup berbeda dengan majelis taklim lainnya dari segi pendekatan maupun kegiatan selama pengajian. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pendekatan andragogi dengan minat belajar orang dewasa serta mengetahui pendekatan andragogi yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran orang dewasa di Majelis Maiyah Bangbang Wetan Surabaya. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional product moment . Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan observasi tidak terstruktur dan angket berupa google form yang disebarkan ke jamaah melalui whatsapp, dengan 40 responden dari jamaah usia dewasa di atas 20 tahun. Hasil penelitian menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara pendekatan andragogi dengan minat belajar di Majelis Maiyah Bangbang Wetan, yang ditunjukkan nilai r hitung lebih besar daripada r tabel (0,737 > 0,312) dengan Sig. (2-tailed) 0,00 < 0,05. Sehingga jika pendekatan andragogi diterapkan dengan baik, maka minat belajar orang dewasa semakin meningkat.

Urban people tend to be busy with work from morning to evening every day. With such conditions and circumstances, they need a forum to just socialize, exchange ideas, strengthen faith, increase knowledge and grow happiness within themselves. The existence of the Bangbang Wetan Maiyah Council attracts many worshipers to attend the recitation every month because this assembly is quite different from other taklim assemblies in terms of approach and activities during the recitation. This study aims to determine the relationship between the andragogy approach with adult learning interest and to find out the andragogy approach applied in adult learning at the Majlis Maiyah Bangbang Wetan Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of product moment correlational research. The data collection technique used was unstructured observation and a questionnaire in the form of a google form which was distributed to the congregation via whatsapp, with 40 respondents from adult congregations over 20 years old. The results of the study stated that there was a relationship between the andragogy approach and interest in learning at the Majlis Maiyah Bangbang Wetan, which was indicated by the calculated r value that was greater than the r table (0.737 > 0.312) with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05. So if the andragogy approach is applied properly, the interest in adult learning will increase.
